Chapter 15
I woke up the next morning, feeling like I was on top of the world.
I got out of bed and went to use the washroom.
I smiled in the mirror at my hair. For the first time in ages, it actually looked sexy. That added on to my happy mood.
I washed up and pulled on my fluffy polka dot robe.
I skipped down the stairs and wasn't surprised when I saw no one was awake.
I decided to make everyone a huge breakfast, since I had nothing better to do and it was nine o'clock in the morning.
After one hour, I had made four omelets, scrambled eggs, breakfast biscuits, and three steaming hot cups of coffee sitting on the table.
Tyler was the first to come downstairs.
"Good morning!" I sang out to him cheerily.
"Wow, someone's on top of the world today." Tyler chuckled, coming up behind me and peering over my shoulder at the large breakfast that was on the table.
"You like omelet, right?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Wow, Bambi, you didn't have to do all this." Tyler said, his warm breath on my neck making me shiver slightly.
I turned around, facing him. Even the annoying pet name didn't affect me today.
"I woke up early, so I thought I'd try out my amazing cooking skills." I grinned at him.
He chuckled.
"Are the other two still sleeping?" I asked Tyler.
"Jordan's up, he's in the bathroom." Tyler mumbled distractedly, looking around at the food like it was heaven.
I took a seat across from him and started filling up my plate.
"Stop drooling over the food." I said, looking down at my piece of art. I had shaped my own omelet into a flower, but it looked more like a big blob of nothing.
"Oh I ain't drooling over the food. I'm drooling over my beautiful fake-fiancés face." Tyler said.
I looked up, and sure enough, he was staring into my eyes.
I felt those damn butterflies go crazy in my stomach again.
I ignored his comment, and started eating my delicious food.
"Wait." Tyler said slowly.
I looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.
"How'd you know how I like my coffee?" He asked me smugly.
"Um, you've been living here for a while now, I think I'd know..." I said, waving it off.
But I knew that I was very bad at remembering things.
I couldn't even remember my pet rabbits name, that had died two years ago.
I told myself it was probably because I always made him coffee, but I knew inside that I'd never asked how he'd want it after the first time.
"Gooooooooood mooorrrrrrrrnnneeeeeeeeeeeng! Jordan yelled out, as he made his grand entrance into the kitchen.
"Where's Chris?" I asked him.
"He's still sleeping." Jordan said.
"Go wake him up." I ordered.
Jordan grinned widely, and then ran up the stair, screaming Chris's name.
