After the gala, I came back home the next day.
Nora was so glad to see me, she told me the house was boring and all our other friends refused to visit, since they're still mad at her for what she said to Layla, even when she tried apologizing Layla didn't pick her calls.

She must be very very pissed then
Because I know her as the understanding and caring type.

I had assured her that I'll get everyone to be here today, by 1pm, so she would apologize and I was also planning on telling them about my wedding, but I'll need to talk to Alex first.

I woke up, did my morning routine and threw on a big t-shirt, which I inherited from Alex. I tie it to my tummy and put on a bum short, then my fluffy slippers.

I walked into the kitchen and Nora was already making breakfast and she was....singing. I sometimes forget she has such a melodious voice.
She seems so happy today.
"And may I know the reason for this unusual joy?" I furrowed my brows.
Is it her new boyfriend we are yet to meet? We were meant to meet him this week but due to the drama that happened on Saturday, Layla doesn't want anything to do with her till she apologizes and Riley's on her side. As for Everly, she's just there, like me, waiting for us to be good again.

"Good morning to you too" she sang as she set the table.

"okay.. Good morning. Where's Nora"

She arched a brow " I'm here..dummy" she rolled her eyes and walked past me

"Is it your mystery boyfriend?"

She paused for a second. "He's not a mystery. You'll meet him soon"

"Hmm. Can't wait" I mumbled as I helped her set the dishes on the table.

We had breakfast, talking about Nora's boyfriend, she told me how sweet and caring he was. I was so happy for her newly found love.

Nora volunteered to make fruit juice and I ordered pizza while waiting for the girls to come and exactly five minutes after, they arrived. Layla, Riley and Everly. They all greeted me as they walked inside. We were discussing when Nora walked in with the tray of the grape flavored drink.

"Hello everyone" she greeted with a small smile and an apologetic smile to Layla.

"Hello Nora" Everly greeted back.
"Hey" was Riley's short reply.
"Uhm..about the movie, I really liked the part where the girl kicked his ass" Layla smiled, talking about a movie she watched which we were discussing before Nora came, totally ignoring Nora.

Nora took a seat beside Everly and cleared her throat, but Riley and Layla didn't pay any attention to her.

"Layla I know you're probably mad at me but-"

"Every one knows I'm fucking mad at you" she snapped and continued her discussion with Riley.

Nora sighed and ran her hands on her hair. "Can we talk? Please Layla"
Layla tried to cut her short but she didn't let her. "Ignoring me won't change anything. I know you're mad at me and I....I called for this meeting here because -"

"What makes you think I'll come because you begged? I came here, simply because Aria asked not because some jealous bitch begged for my attention" Layla explained. Nora gives her an amused look and rose her hands in surrender "Okay.. Okay fine. I was wrong for talking to you that way the other day -"

"In what way?" Layla arched her brows

"An insulting way" Nora replied in a bored tone.

"Insulting in what way?"

Layla loved making people regret it when they hurt her. I'm sure she wants to hear those words again.

Nora took a deep breath "I'm really sorry for calling you a cheap whore, just th-" I shot her a glare. If she really  wanted Layla's forgiveness, she wouldn't go further.

"Go on" Layla clenched her jaw and Riley gave her knee a reassuring squeeze.

"I don't know what came over me, I was just paranoid and I took it out on you. I apologize for that. It wasn't my intention to hurt your feelings, I just didn't know the right way to tell you, but you also insulted me"

"You started it first" Layla's voice rises. "Is this why you called me here Aria? So your stuck up bitchy friend can insult me more than she already has?" She directs her anger to me. Innocent me. I wasn't expecting this to go like this. Nora should've just ended it with a simple 'I'm sorry I hurt you' no need for a long speech.
A simple 'I'm sorry' will calm the storm.

"Layla-" I try to calm her down but she cuts me short.

"You hurt me bad Nora. I know I sleep around but you don't need to rub it on my face. You called me names I never imagine you could. I know I've had so many flings, i know but that doesn't mean you'll become a judgmental bitch and call me names!  I didn't expect this from you!" Her voice breaks at the end and she slumped into the couch, covering her face with her palms

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. Please forgive me. I don't have it in me to keep fighting with you" Nora whined.

"What you said didn't hurt me that much. It was how you said it that hurt me"

I walked quietly to Layla and cupped her tear stained face. " To err is to human, to forgive us divine. Nora is sorry for what she did. Please forgive her. If you don't, our group will never be the same again." She looks at me with blank eyes. "We've been like sisters. Please don't let an argument scatter the bond we've built"

"Fine" she sighed in defeat.  "I forgive you." She looked at everyone else. "Happy?" We all nodded.

"Good. Now let's have snacks. I already rented a movie, so...let's just chill. No awkward situations please" I smile and the group laughs.
"I'll be right back" Layla said as she got up. "I'm just going to the restroom" she smiles when she noticed us giving her a concerned look and walked into the hallway.

I'm more than glad Nora and Layla made up. I never liked the tension that surrounded us whenever we met.
Nora told us we could meet her boyfriend on Saturday and we were so anxious.

I haven't received any calls from Alex in two days, so I decided to call him, since I was free and home alone. Nora had gone out this morning to God knows where.

"Hey baby? What happened? You haven't called in two good days. I've missed you" I pouted.

"Sorry love, just been so busy lately. I'm really really sorry" He replied faster than he could've. That's weird.
Well he's probably engrossed in his work, but I still felt the need to ask.

"Are you okay?"

"Y..yeah why?"

"Nothing, I'm just a little bit worried. I thought you could come over, but never mind -"

"I'll come see you tomorrow" he suddenly said and I found myself grinning like an idiot.

"Really?" I squealed.

"Yes love...I gotta go now okay? Love you"

"I love you too. Kisses" I said and I heard him hang up.

I hate that his parents make him work so much, just because he's the only child and a guy. Can't they just..ugh!

I'm going to have a nap.
