It's been a month since we graduated, the girls decided to stay back to help with the wedding preparations.

The whole house was busy, maids were working everywhere, everyone was busy with one thing or the other.
We were all staying at the my father's in Texas, since the preparations were taking place there.

Nora, being my closest friend would be my maid of honor, Riley, Layla, Everly and Avery would be my four. beautiful bridesmaids.

Layla was is charge of my makeup, so she had sent a request for one of the best artists.
Riley was in charge of my dress, so we  went shopping for my wedding dress, we settled on Oscar de la renta bridal.
Trust Riley. She goes for the best.

The dress was so beautiful. I chose to go shopping with her, rather than seat and listen to a fashion advisor tell me what's best for me or order online.
Everly and my mum were in charge of the food, Avery was in charge of the decorations, since she loves decorating and boy! She's good.

After running here and there to get everything set, we were finally done.
"Oh finally" I slumped on my bed. "We've been busy like crazy"

"You're the bride. You weren't even meant to stress yourself. But you being you, you just love stress" Nora huffed and took a seat next to me. I glared at her.

"I can't sit and watch y'all work your butts off and do nothing. Like you said, its my wedding, so I have to make sure everything is in order." I didn't wait for her to say any other thing before continuing "I need a warm bath. Its been a long day"

"Okay then! I'll get out your dress for your bachelorette party" She yelled from behind.

"Whatever. Do as you please" I mumbled as I took off my clothes and got into my warm, cozy bath tub, filled with roses. The party is tomorrow, I don't even know why Nora bothers.

"I don't even know why the guys don't get to be here" drunk Layla slurred as she danced miserably on the dance floor. I couldn't help the giggle that left my lips.

Drunk Layla is a funny and crazy Layla
She was on her fifth bottle of vodka.

I didn't join them to drink. Who wants a hungover on their wedding day?

"Oh my Korey! I missed you" she begun rubbing her butt on the wall.
"She's crazy" I laughed out loud.
"I know right" I flinch and turned to Everly, who I never realized was sitting beside me.
"Hey Eve"
"I never  knew Layla was such a good entertainer" she chuckled beside me
"I tell you" I took a sip from my soft drink as we watched drunk Layla and Riley perform.
"By the way where's Nora" Eve asked after a few minutes of silence between us.
"She was right here, she told me she was going to get something" I shrugged. Nora was tipsy as at when she left, I was a little tipsy too, since I took a little alcohol. Just a tiny little bit

PS: The girls forced me to do it.
I know I said I wouldn't get drunk ever... again.

"Hm..." Was Eve's reply. "Aria" She called after some seconds
"Yeah?" I threw a glance at her.  I had a feeling she was about to tell me something important
"Uh....I...I'm not tryna spoil your mood but...uh..how do I say this" she mumbled the last part, but I still heard it above the music blasting from the speaker.

"Say it anyway you can, I'll understand" I replied, still looking at the drunk girls on the 'dance floor' i.e the center of the living room.

My parents decided to go stay somewhere else with the twins, so we have the house all to ourselves.
