Nora/Elisa's POV

"Arrggh" I wake up to my aching head. My already tired body can only take much.
After all the beating I got yesterday, guess where I ended up?
The clinic in this goddamn prison!

"Are you okay?" I flinched as much as my aching body could carry me.
It was Jenny, my former cellmate.

"My whole body hurts. Every single part...but hey! What are you doing here?"
I ask as she helps me sit up.

"Well, today is my group's sanitation day, so, I seized that opportunity to come see you" she explained.

"Won't you get in trouble for that?" I ask.

"Don't worry about it. I lied that I had a stomach upset, so the warden permitted me" she giggles.
"So tell me, how's your new cell?"

"Horrible is an understatement for the description of that hole" I snort.

Aria's POV

"And Carl, don't forget, tomorrow's Austin's birthday. He'll really appreciate his daddy's presence." she smirks, throwing a glance at me.

I threw a look at Carl, a confused look.

Did I hear correctly?
Daddy?
He has a son?

Why didn't he tell me about it?

Ha! I told you he was playing with you, but did you listen?
No! Now take a look at this.

"Aria, It's not....I can explain" he sighs.
I don't even know how, but a sad smile managed to creep unto my face.

"You have a son?" I ask.

He looks at me for a moment before nodding. "Yes, I do...I was going to tell you" he rushes out.

"I thought you said not everyone wants to hurt me? You lied to me Carl! I can't believe I let myself fall again!" My tears fall from my eyes.

"Aria! Please, it hasn't come to this."
He grabs my hands.

"Then what Carl? What? What did I do to deserve this? I wasn't tryna fall in love but you pushed me Carl! I tore down the walls I had fought so hard to build, all for you? and this is what I get in return?"
I turn around to leave, but he pulls me towards him.

"I won't let you leave angry, I never wanted you to find out like this, I was going to tell you"

"Let me go Carl, I don't wanna talk about this now"

"Promise me you'll talk later"
I raise my eyes and fix a glare on him.

"Promise? Tell me, did you keep your promise to me? Hm?" I shove him away and storm out.

I was about getting into my car, when that same lady, who I assume is his child's mother was obstructing my way.
I tighten my grip on my key holder, in an effort to be calm.

"How may I help you?" I ask.

"Oh! I'm just here to make the fact clear to you that Carl and I are together and we also have a son. So if you have any good morals, please stay away from him"

I chuckle. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but I have no romantic interest in him. We are just business partners, so if you would excuse me, I'll like to get into my ride." I gesture to my car that was behind her.

"You can't lie to me, I can smell your infatuation towards him, even now."

"Okay, what if I do? If he really is in a relationship with you, as you claim, then why not trust him? Why are you standing here warning me? If I were you, I would go back up there and confirm if he's still in a relationship with me." I pat her shoulder. "Be wise my dear, you might just be the only one in that relationship. Now move!" I shove her out of my way and get into my car.
