"Whyyyyy" I said aloud as my alarm blared in my ears. I turned it off before rolling onto the floor. "Ow" I said before clawing my way over to my closet. I grabbed my black tight fitting turtle neck sweater and my blue jeans. I walked across the hall into the bathroom that I packed with my toiletries. I showered then completed my routine. I put on my clothes followed by my black leather ankle boot heels.

The sound of my boots walking on our wooden floor echoed through the house. I grabbed my pre picked bookbag thanks to my dad and headed outside. I hopped into my truck and drove to the high school. My music playing softly.

I sing along until i was forced to a stop in front of the school. I put in my headphones and grabbed my bag before I walked out of my car and into the school. I could feel eyes burning into every piece of my body but I couldn't let it get to me so I turned up my music and drowned out my surroundings. That was until I walked into the office and had to speak to people.

"Hi, I'm here for my schedule" a red head lady with a welcoming smile turned around and looked at me. "What's your name hun" "Harlow, Harlow rai Evans" I smiled a genuine smile. "Mr. Evans is loved around here. Here let me get your schedule" she turned her chair around and started digging in a pile of papers. A cold whirl of air brushing the back of my neck. I turned my head a little to see someone. God was he gorgeous. His shoulder length golden locks were messy yet so perfect. His eyes were a sea of honey. His lips small yet full of lust. His body was slightly muscular but still looked comfortable. His gaze caught mine so I turned and waited for the lady to give me my schedule. It was almost like it was going in slow motion. Then he came next to me. He smelled better than he looked, and he looked good. "I think you missed a spot Miss.Eve" his voice spoke to her. She turned and looked at the opposite file. In a matter of seconds she found my schedule. "Here you go ms.Evans" she handed me the paper and a pink slip I had to return at the end of the day. "Have a good day ms.evans" he spoke with a subtle country accent. I could feel my heart beat accelerate within my chest. I was almost at the door when I heard him whisper something at me. "Calm down darlin" it was on cue. My heart beat slowed. I smiled at him then walked away bumping into a girl in the process. "Oh I'm so sorry" I said trying to help her up. When she lifted her head i almost screamed. "HARLEY" she screamed. "BELLA" I screamed back. We hugged for a little bit. "I missed you so much, it's been boring without you" Bella said as she walked me to my class. "I missed you more! We haven't talked since we were preteens" we smiled. "Well this is my class, I think." I said as we stoped at AP history. "Well lunch is next class period since you got here late, sit with me and my friends" she pleaded. "Fine" we hugged and she left. I knocked three times on the door before it opened and revealed a bright smiling teacher. He led me into the classroom. "Well class we have a new student. Ms.Evans I'm very glad to bring you into our history journey. Please take a seat next to Mr.Hale, raise your hand please jasper" his hand subtly rose. I walked over to the empty seat beside him. It was complete and utter silence between the two of us as the teacher continued his former lesson. Then a beautiful girl with a perfectly cut pixie turned and looked at me. "I'm alice and that's my adopted brother jasper. He is kinda mute until you formally meet him" I turned my head to see him sitting firmly with his hands on the corresponding edge of his seat. "I'm harlow, you can call me Harley." I reached out my hand for her to shake it, but when she did she froze. Not physically but figuratively . She was looking at me directly but it didn't feel that way. It felt like she was looking beyond me. After a minute or two she dropped my hand and gathered herself. She smiled at us. "You should come sit with me and my family" I was about to accept when I remembered Bella asked me to sit with her. "I'm sorry, Bella- my best friend since birth- asked me to eat with her" I was waiting for the basic 'I'm sorry maybe next time' but that's not what I got. Laughs. I got laughs. "Care to tell me what's funny" I asked with a lace of attitude. Their laughs ceased. "Bella is apart of our family, she's dating our adoptive brother, Edward" I feel like an idiot. "Oh well yea I'll sit with you guys if your ok with that" I said drawing my attention to jasper. His face turned slowly to face mine. My pulse ran fast. My blood froze in place. His eyes weren't honey filled, instead looked dark. Dark brown. His face tensed like he was going to do something he was going to regret. Is he gonna hurt me? No- he doesn't even know you Harlow calm down! What do you mean calm down, this dude looks like he wants to rip my throat out. My body grew agitated with the thought of his possible actions. My face showed every emotion I felt which was a blessing and a curse in disguise. His eyes traveled around my face while his slowly calmed. "I-im so sorry, I gotta go" he stood up and walked out of the classroom. His exit was perfectly timed since the class was ending. "Did I do that" I turned to Alice. "No baby he's just different" she said before standing up. "Cmon lets go introduce you to my family" I smiled and got my things. We walked into the already loud cafeteria. We grazed through the line for food. I got a sandwich and an apple, but Alice didn't get anything. We walked to the east part of the cafeteria and sat down with 5 other people. All of them were unnaturally beautiful. Their skin was as white as snow. Their features were strikingly alluring. "Guys this is my new friend and future bestie, Harlow" I smiled and pulled my curl behind my ear. "Harlow this is Emmett" she pointed to a fairly buff man with short chocolate hair and simple smirk. His hand was interlocked with a gorgeous blonde lady. Her face just as piercing as his. "That's Rosalie" Alice said pointing the the blonde beauty. "That's Edward and you already know Bella" she drew my attention to a chiseled man with a milk chocolate tone in his hair. Bella was nuzzled up to him almost claiming her territory. Damn Bella let the man breathe, shit. I thought to myself. Edward laughed, at what- idk. We started a small conversation until jasper came and sat down in the empty seat beside me. I adverted my eyes and looked outside. Lucky for me there was a glass replacing where a wall was supposed to be. I watched the rain pour on the trees. I could see birds hiding in there nests trying to shield themselves from the rain. Squirrels coiled themselves around a branch. A smile appeared on my face as I watched. "Harlow, Harlow are you listening" Bella said. "Huh" I clicked back into 'social mode'. "We wanted to know if you were going to the Halloween bash" her eyes pleaded. "Oh I don't know, maybe" I finished before Bella and Alice had a smile on their face. They started throwing out ideas for costumes while I tuned them out. I could hear the rustling trees in my head and the falling leaves. The rain had ceased and the birds slowly started to get out of their nests. The squirrel uncoiled itself from the branch and ran down the tree to what looked like a family. I must have zoned out because I was being shook rapidly. "Please don't do that" I said quietly yet powerfully. I turned around to see his sea of honey eyes again. I found myself swimming deep within them. My mind threw me a life jacket as I was getting to deep. "Harlow, Harlow" My eyes darted to where the sound was come from, his lips. "I- I'm sorry." I looked down at my feet in embarrassment. "It's fine the group was worried cuz u kinda stoped moving" his voice sounded worried. "Oh I was just daydreaming" I looked up and saw his eyes were traveling the seen parts of my face. When he realized I was looking at him he looked away. "Well I have to go, see you later Ms.Harlow rai" he responded taunting me with his country accent. Wtf is he doing to me I thought to myself. I got up off the bench and walked to my next classes
