Third person's POV
After her talk with Catherine, Lily felt better. She agreed that Catherine was right, that she shouldn't push her father away, and that she should simply tolerate him. It is true: he did risk his life to save Emily.
Lily didn't try to contact her father or visit him. But she knew Emily was contacting him, and she was happy for her. It would take Lily another two days before she'd see her father again.

Two days later, Jennifer gave birth to the next Superior in line. The delivery was very painful, but she was supported by Lily, Marianne, and a human doctor. Jennifer had a hard time calming down because she wanted Emily to be present too but, because she's part of them, she couldn't be there.
When Jennifer was trying to calm down, after the delivery, and Marianne was cleaning the baby, Lily smiled at Jennifer. "You did well."
Jennifer looked at her. "I never want to experience that again."
Lily chuckled. "You won't, don't worry."
"Good," Jennifer let out a deep breath before smiling at her baby which Marianne was handing to her. "Hey there," She looked at Lily. "Can you get Emily please?"
"I'll get them." Marianne opened the door of the room and, immediately, Emily rushed inside.
"Hey," Emily first kissed Jennifer before looking at the baby. "Hey there."
Jennifer smiled from the baby to Emily. "Beautiful baby, isn't it?"
Emily nodded. "Is it a boy or a girl?"
Jennifer shrugged before looking at Marianne.
"It's a boy," Marianne smiled a bit. "He is beautiful indeed."
Emily smiled before looking at Jennifer. "What shall we name him?"
Jennifer shrugged. "I don't know any name of your culture."
"That doesn't matter."
Jennifer looked at the baby and couldn't help but smile at him. He melted her heart, he was so perfect, so beautiful. "What are some names of your culture?" She then looked at Emily.
"Damian, Davon, Roman..." Emily was thinking out loud but she didn't know many names.
"Eldon, Sandor, Edward, Isaiah, Duncan, Hunter, Warren..." Catherine filled in. "There are plenty of names."
Jennifer nodded but didn't seem convinced.
"We don't need to name him like that," Emily repeated. "We can also call him a human name."
Jennifer looked from Emily to the baby. "I remember that story you told me, about your grandparents," She then looked at Emily, who seemed worried for a bit. "What do you think of Leon?"
Emily nodded. "That's a cool name, but what does it have to do with my grandparents?"
"'Le' from Lilian and 'on' from Vernon," Jennifer smiled a bit. "A combination of your grandparents."
Emily smiled but couldn't help but look at her zaezzes. "Are you ok with that?"
Catherine nodded before smiling a bit, she was visibly emotional as this was a beautiful thing to do to remember her parents by. "It's a beautiful name, Jennifer."
Emily smiled before looking at Jennifer. "Leon Le Rouge, the next Superior in line."
Jennifer smiled and nodded too.

As the news spread, people visited them to congratulate them on their newborn baby: the new Superior.
The BC was ecstatic about the new baby, perhaps also because it would be another Father Superior one day.
Esmee, Benjamin, and Peter were thrilled for the newest member of the family. They would love to spend time with him, just like they loved spending time with baby Emily.
Lily and Catherine were emotional but very happy. Lily couldn't believe she was a grandmother already. Though, she didn't mind. She actually quite liked being a young grandmother, she would be the active and involved grandmother. Catherine, on the other hand, had a much more emotional feeling about it all. She was so happy Emily found her potential and that she had a son, but what made her the happiest was that she could witness it all. Her parents never had the chance to witness this, but she was. She finally broke with the habits of her father. Perhaps she really wasn't going down...
But the most surprising visitors came later that week...

Emily looked around the neighborhood. She had expected to see them already. Why weren't they here yet? Suddenly fear overtook her as she thought they might have told on them...
But all of that fear left when she saw the huge car park at the house.
She smiled. "Hey," She hugged her grandfather and grandmother. "Welcome," She then looked at Julian and his parents and other grandparents, who were clearly overwhelmed by the news. "Come on in."
Emily led them inside the house. She led them to the room Jennifer was in with Leon.
"It's right here," She opened the door and let them all into the room. "Meet Leon, the newest member of our family."
"Aww," Betty stepped forward, to Jennifer. "He's beautiful." She gently rubbed Leon's little cheek.
"He is," John smiled at Emily. "He'll be the next in line?"
Emily nodded. "But that's not going to be for another 20 years or something, my zaezzes is still feeling fine to lead."
John nodded before looking back at Leon. "It'll be weird to have a Father Superior again."
"It'll be different." Bill said, correcting his brother.
"Where is your mother?" Avan asked, he was too eager to see Lily again, his best friend.
Everyone looked at Emily, and it seemed they all wanted the same: they wanted to see Lily, they wanted to talk to her, perhaps they wanted to restore the broken bond with her.
Emily nodded as she immediately understood this. "She'll be home soon, she's out with zaezzes."
They all nodded.
"It's so crazy you have a son now," Julian exclaimed. "But cool at the same time," He stepped forward to see Leon a bit better. "Hey, little dude!"
Emily chuckled. "Yeah, it'll be an adjustment."
"We're doing just fine, haewa," Jennifer smiled at Emily. "Besides, your family is a great support."
Emily nodded. "As they always have been."
John nodded. "I bet Lily could count a lot on your family here," He looked down then. "While it should have been us to take care of her."
Emily walked to him to put her hand on his shoulder. "What's most important is that she is happy now."
John smiled a bit. "You're right."
Then they all heard a lot of movement in the house. "I'm guessing mom and zaezzes just arrived."
John took a deep breath. "And now we'll finally show her we'll take care of this family too." He, alongside everyone else, then left the room.
Jennifer looked at Emily. "Do you think that'll end well?"
Emily shrugged. "I can only hope."
