Two

At lunch we sat in our group in the grass, " How could someone say something like that?" " Odette there's a lot of wizards and witches that look down on muggle borns" " I know it's just unfair" I said as I put my head on Sirius' lap. We heard a whistle and we all turned out heads to Avery Malfoy who was standing with Tom and a bunch of other Slytherin boys. " Piss off" James said to them " All these lovely girls shouldn't be hanging out with you four freaks, especially that one on the dogs lap, what you say girl? Want to ride on my lap?" I sat up and covered my mouth " Don't you dare speak to her like that!" Sirius said standing up, when he did James and Lupin stood up too while Lily and Molly held me.

" I'm sure she'd much rather my wand then yours dog" I felt so insulted, I'm just trying to have lunch with my friends and this guy is sexually harassing me as a joke. The boys just argued and I was getting fed up with it, I stood up and walked in front of Sirius " Can we just go? Please" Sirius looked at me then sighed " Yeah, come on boys" they started walked away when Avery wrapped his arms right around my waist " So is that a yes for the ride?" I growled as I swung my head back and hit him straight in the face, then turned around and kicked him where the sun don't shine before finishing him off with one hard punch to the face, sending him to the ground. " How was that ride for you? Because I'm greatly satisfied" I spat before taking my book bag and walking away.

That night before the feast I went to Professor Dumbledore along with my friends as witnesses. I knocked on his office door and I opened it when I heard his voice to come in. " Ah, Odette what can I do for you?" He greeted " I'd like to report Avery Malfoy" " Oh? What did he do this time?" Dumbledore asked as I looked at me " He was sexually harassing me, asking me for a ride and then grabbed my waist and refused to let me go" Dumbledore stood up, " These are very serious accusations" " It's the truth Professor. We were all there" Lily said " And how may I ask did you get out of that situation?" " She kicked his ass" Sirius smiled proudly causing Dumbledore to smile " I'll talk to the head of Slytherin house and have this sorted, don't worry Ms. Evans".

At the feast my brothers sat beside me " We heard about what you did to Malfoy" James said " And we have to say we're impressed, but we still gave him a bit of brotherly love" William winked. " So what did Dumbledore say?" " He said he'd be speaking to head of Slytherin house and sort it out" " Good" " We already got detention" " But it was worth it" they smiled at me before walking away. We walked through the halls after the feast and were stopped by Avery and another two Slytherin boys " You got me suspended till after Christmas" " Good, you deserved to be expelled" Lily said " I wasn't talking to you, you filthy mudblood ".

Without thinking James pulled out his wand " Depulso" he casted. Sending the boys to fly into the wall. We quickly all ran to the common room and laughed as we sat by the couches. " Jesus James, your gonna get yourself in trouble" " It was worth it to see their faces" he laughed. After a while everyone had gone to bed except for Sirius and myself, we sat in front of the fire talking when all of a sudden he looked at me very serious. " Odette, I was wondering if we'd be able to try again?" " Try what again?" I asked confused " Dating". My eyes widened " What? But I thought we agreed it was awkward" " We were thirteen of course it was going to be awkward, I just wanted to see if we'd be able to try one last time". I looked at Sirius for a second, he looked incredibly serious and he had hope in his eyes " Okay, one last time". He smiled at stroked my cheek " Thank you Odette" he leaned in and kissed me softly on the lips before going upstairs to bed, instantly making me feel nervous because I felt nothing with that kiss.

" What? But I thought-" " We decided to give it one last chance" Sirius smiled at me " Yeah, I am incredibly nervous though. I don't want this ruining our friendship" " It won't" " What if while we're doing this you get feelings for another girl? Or I get feelings for another guy? You know how you get Sirius". He sighed " I know, but I swear it won't ruin anything and we'll still be best friends, I swear it" I sighed " Okay". It was the weekend so we were around Hogsmead in our normal clothes, my father insisted we only wear black clothes and because he was old fashioned I only had dresses and skirts. I wore a black dress with short sleeves and ended at my knees, I wore black shoes and a black ribbon in my hair. We were having some butter beers and I went upstairs to use the bathroom, when I came out of the ladies room I was grabbed and pinned against a wall " For someone who's in Gryffindor I thought you'd wear more colourful clothing" " Tom? What are you doing?" He stared at me straight in the face, a fully serious look spread across his usually blank expression " You are intriguing to me, I don't know what it is but your attractive to me. And seeing you dressed in all black in a tight dress " he said as he touched the end of my dress " Has me wanting you" I looked at him like he was mad " Get off of me" I said before getting out of his grip and going back downstairs.

A few minutes later Tom came back downstairs, I put my head on Sirius' shoulder and smiled a little when he kissed my head. Tom gave Sirius a deathly glare before going back to his own table. " What's his problem?" " I don't know".
