Chapter 11 – Secrets Revealed Part 1

“Kurosaki Mikuo. Singing idol. Address, unknown. Age, 16. That’s your information for public.” I said.

He’s silent. I moved on to his private information.

“Real name, Fujiwara Kei. History, a country bumpkin who…”

Mikuo’s POV

As Yuki tells my story, I can’t help myself remembering the past.

Flashback

I was 10 then. I was living in the province with my father and siblings. My father never tells us something about my mother, but since we’re all living happily, I didn’t bother to ask. Even though there are not much facilities in my current school, I’m living a satisfied life. It was not that long after my 11th birthday, a fire occurred in our house where I was out to practice singing by the river. Everyone dies and I was too late to save them.

To erase my bitter memories, I went to the city. I took a part-time singing job in a bar to help myself while studying at the same time. It continued like that for 2 years, being all by myself when I met a girl in the bar who always watches me when I sing. Not long after that, we fell in love with each other. Since we’re both living by ourselves, we decided to live together. I was planning to surprise her for our 1 year anniversary relationship in a restaurant when she met an accident on the way.

I was devastated that time. That was then Kousuke found me. Again, in order to forget another bitter memory, I decided to leave out my character – the Fujiwara Kei with the real smile and can’t even hide his true feelings. Kousuke helped me changed my name too – Kurosaki Mikuo with the eyes who can’t be read as calm as the water, smiling always not knowing if it is true or not. This was the new me.

Kousuke made me famous which resulted to my mother finding me. I shoved her away in order to protect her since everyone that I love gets killed when they’re around me. My popularity rose each day until 6 months after my debut, someone called my private phone and death threat towards my mom is his message. I ignored it first because it might be a stalker fan of mine. But to remove my worries, I hired an investigator, knew who was my mom, and found out it was true – black ribbon, dead black cat on the box, and so on.

I was hoping to find the person behind it until I had the knowledge of a school who trains underground assassins who I just searched randomly on the Internet. I was trained and at the age of 14, I was already taught how to kill and even researched the guy who’s behind the death threat. But the guy is hard to find with my new knowledge I had.

I visited my mom in her apartment when I noticed that the inside is so quiet. When I got to entered her room, she was hanged up on the ceiling, her blood all over the room.

Yuki’s POV

He was breathing hard after I gave him the information I know.

“There was also a message behind that bloody place and I know you got to deciphered it with the knowledge you gained in your training.” He went stiff.

I whispered him the words that made him go shouting while his hand covers his ears.
