Chapter 14 – Fragments of the Past

Hibiki's POV

'This is odd'. I thought. I can't see any sign of Yuki. 'Maybe she went out with her new friends.' I ignored the thought for I still felt guilty for what I said back then. I should've ask her why she hid it in the first place. I just sigh.

I'm sitting on the branch of the tree where I usually hang out. I'm actually avoiding the three girls. They've been sticking to me too much like a leech. 'Ha! You just want to make Yuki jealous.' My conscience said. This another emotion of mine is taking over me again. But without this emotion, I couldn't continue living just when the girl I loved died years ago. I close my eyes and flashbacks were coming to me.

Flashback

"Don't drag her into this! I'm the one you want!" I said struggling from the big man who was holding me.

"Ki-kun!" Yuu shouted with fears in her blue eyes as she try to reach me but couldn't.

"Well take her gently, don't worry." The leader said with the devilish smile. I can't see his face because of his black bonnet. Then a ring from his phone cut his smile off.

"Hello? Yes, I know. I don't like the plan anymore. I'll do everything I want starting now. The deal's off." He hung up.

"Now, where are we? Oh right." He said as he looked to Yuu with lustful eyes and approached her slowly.

"NO!"

I bit the hand of the guy who was holding me and kicked him on his crotch where he ended up unconscious because of the pain. I was going to run towards the leader when the other guy approached me and I felt pain. I look at my abdomen and realized that I was stabbed.

"Yukio!" I shouted.

Then, the little Siberian Husky jumped from nowhere and bit the one who stabbed me. Struggling, he accidentally bumped the big crates that buried him. He became unconscious and Yukio was the same too, due to the impact of bumping him to the crates. Even though I'm loosing blood, I continue to approach the leader who was already holding Yuu until I passed out.

Flashback end

The bell chimed signalling the students that lunch is over. 'I fell asleep with that kind of dream again.' I thought. I jumped down from the branch and look around if the girls are around. I just went inside the building when there was a voice echoed all over the campus.

"Calling Kyouya Hibiki. Please proceed to the teacher's office."

'Weird. I wasn't called before.' I thought as I approach the teacher's office.
