Chapter 2 – The Meeting

Hibiki’s POV

“I’m sleepy! Where should I sleep?” I said as I yawned.

Walking at the back of the school, Trees were everywhere. Only one tree stood out because of its big trunk and branches that gave me an idea to sleep there. Looking left and right, front and back, no one was there and I think its okay to climb so nobody would disturb me when I sleep. Running towards the trunk, I pushed my right foot against it and jumped to reach the branch. I swing around and swiftly jumped on the higher branch. I jumped for the third time and stopped, thinking if the branch can hold me.

‘Maybe this will do. The leaves are thick for me to be seen’ I thought.

I looked up to see a girl sleeping in straight position, as if she doesn’t care if she falls. Since the branch is closer, I can tiptoe my feet and see her face. Thick eyelashes, red lips, white complexion and black silky hair that covers some parts of her face.

‘What a beauty! Makes me want to touch her.’ I thought.

I hesitated and looked at her for a few minutes.

‘I’ll just remove some of her hair that covered her face. That’s all.’ My thoughts declared.

I slowly held my right hand to touch her face when she suddenly opened her blue eyes with a shocked expression and then it became blank after a second. She stopped my hand and I know that I’m in deep trouble.

“What do you want?” She asked.

Her face was only few inches away from me and she wasn’t even affected by the situation.

“I was just looking for some place to sleep when I saw you.” I gulped.

“Oh. Then I’m finished sleeping. You can sleep here.” She asked as she sat on the branch and patting it.

I joined her where she’s sitting and looked at her face. Her face is expressionless so I don’t know what she’s thinking.

“I’m Kyouya Hibiki and you?” I asked.

“Just an ordinary girl.” She answered and looked at me blankly. “I’m being called.” She jumped all the way down and walked away as if nothing happened.

“Ordinary you say?” I said with interest. “That was interesting. I hope we get along.” I just lean my back on the trunk and closed my eyes smiling.

Yuki’s POV

‘That was unusual’. I thought. I just ignored my thought and walked in the Archives also as library.

There are two floors inside the room. The 1st floor contains different books and documentaries that can be helpful to the students. As I walked to the 2nd floor through the right stairs where the sofas, paintings and statues are held, I went closer to the waterfall painting and pushed the right rock. Then I walked through the painting as it flips twice. There were stairs going down and it takes me to the secret passageway to the principal’s office. This was the place where my assassination jobs are given to me.

“Welcome, Black Shadow.” Tsukimori Touma, my superior said.

“What are the jobs?” I said being straight to the point.

“Fast as always, anyway, here are your three jobs. I know you’re also going to investigate these people because you don’t believe at the information I give. Good luck.” He said with a smile.

I nodded and went out of his room by pushing something in the wall and came out from the painting in the lobby. I went out straight to my house and opened the computer to start investigating.
