Chapter 12 – Red Moon's appearance

“I’ll continue killing your loved ones until you find me.”

That was the whisper I told Mikuo before he went shouting.

Kousuke automatically stood up and used his left hand to make Mikuo unconscious. He carried him in a bridal style and he looked at me blankly. I know he is angry and sad at the same time.

“You’re not the only one who has secrets to protect.” He said and left.

‘Ugh. I just told him what he wanted to know’ I thought.

The bell rang signalling that the lunch is over. I’m not in the mood to go back to the class so I called Mr. Kiyoteru’s phone and told him I’m not feeling well and I’ll be going home straight. I hung up and went out of the garden. I was on my way to the gate of the school when a small rock was thrown on my face if only I didn’t catch it with my right hand.

“Nice catch!” An energetic voice said. I couldn’t see him anywhere but I know he’s hiding at the behind the tree.

‘The impatient and serious Red Moon’ I guessed. ‘No more introductions for the day. I’m tired.’ I ignored him though he was speaking to me that time.

“Hey! Don’t ignore me!” He said as he revealed himself and pointed his hand towards me. I was only like 2 meters to the entrance when he stopped me. I faced him because I can’t stand his loudness.

‘I’m supposed to get out of this school quietly!’ My conscience shouted.

“NO ONE messes around with me! Stealing someone’s assignment, acting like nothing happened, and the worst part is the first…” before he finished his sentence, I leaped to the place where he’s talking and tried to kick his head with my left leg but he blocked it. Twisting my leg made me turn 360 degrees in the air for me not to be injured and landed with my feet. No second was wasted for I kicked him on his ankle that made him fall.

‘He finally stopped talking.’ I thought. I made sure that we’re in the grassy areas with trees behind us so the school wouldn’t see us.

“Shut up. I’m not feeling well so I will excuse myself.” I said and left him.

“No! Not when you humiliated me like this!” He was shouting as he stood up.

“You can take revenge on me next time. Not today.” I had the feeling that he will come rushing at me so I threw him back the stone. “Besides, I’m on my punishment. You can see me in school some other time.” I said as I reach the gate.

I remembered what Red Moon said being humiliated. I looked at the tiny camera of a marble size in the gate’s design. ‘I see. He really is humiliated.’ I thought and left school.
