"Serenity stop shouting in my house, wait what's the word y'all kids be saying these days?"My mom spoke while walking into my room. "Oh yeah sapping or however y'all be saying it"
"Oh my god, never say that again"I shook my head at her. "Mhm child anyways, go take the trash out"
I rolled my eyes at her then got up and slipped my slides on my feet. I ran down stairs and took the trash out the bin and went outside.
Y'all wouldn't believe who I saw....."Serenity?"
"Natalie?"I asked, she nodded and ran up and gave me a hug. "Girl how did you find out where I live?"
"I have my connections, but I have to talk to you can I come inside?"She asked me. I nodded then threw the trash inside the dumpster then led her into my house.
When we got inside she sat on the couch and played with her fingers for a few seconds. "I had the baby, it was a boy his name is Alexander"She spoke.
"Oh that's great, but why did you need to talk to me?"
"Something happened with Noah and Monica that's very important and I know you don't care because of what they did to you but it's important because I know deep down inside you still care about him even though he broke you're heart"
I nodded, "continue"
"Monica overdosed on some pain medicine last week and Noah hasn't been the same since then. The twins have been driving him crazy and between work and trying to take care of them it's been a headache. He hasn't even applied for any colleges yet an-"
"Is Monica dead?"
"No, she is in a medically induced coma"
"Well what do you need me to do?"
"Just help him for a few weeks"
"You know I ca-"
"I'll pay you!"She screamed while interrupting me.
"Natalie, there is no way that I'll ever get back with your brother just know that and I'm only doing this for you and those baby's"I told her.
She nodded and got up. "Thank you so much I will text you their address, one last thing...can you be there tomorrow at 8 am?"She asked me.
"Sure"I told her.
"Thank you so much serenity"She gave me a hug while I was sitting down and left.
Why the hell did I just agree to that?
