The dying sun threw an orange glow over the meadow of pale pink flowers and the laughter of children filled the air. A child was running around the meadow with her father chasing after her.

"I got you!" Adam told our daughter when he caught her and started tickling her.

He picked her up and walked over to me laying in the grass with our son in my arms and a bump on my stomach. He sat down next to me and placed our daughter on his lap.

"You look exhausted." I told him after I ran my hand over the little bump on my stomach.

"Well, little miss sunshine here inherited your energetic nature." He chuckled and pointed towards our daughter on his lap.

She had beautiful curly brown hair with light blue eyes encircled with a dark rim and soft glowing brown skin.

"Oh Adam, my love, you flatter me." I grinned playfully.

"How's little one doing?" Adam asked and caressed my stomach.

"She hasn't been giving any trouble, nothing at all." I chuckled and held his hand.

"Your father would've been so proud. He'd love to see you so happy and he'd be more than happy to meet his grandchildren." Adam said and brushed my hand with his thumb.

"Indeed, I can just imagine him playing with them everyday of the week and training them, of course." I smiled up at the sky.

"How about a nice relaxing dinner tonight? After we put the children to bed, you and I can go for a nice run and let our little wolf-friends lose." Adam suggested.

"I'd love that. To feel my claws in the soil again and setting myself free." I sighed happily.

"I love you, my wife." He leaned over me and gave me a kiss on the lips.

"I love you too." I told him and returned the loving kiss with one of my very own.

He hoisted me up gently and I scooped our son into my arm while he did the same with our daughter. We intertwined our free hands and walked all the way back up to the mansion to another lovely evening.
