Todoroki POV

I had help getting my belongings from my old house and honestly it felt good to get out of there. It meant I could leave as much of that traumatic past behind as possible. I still hadn't told my father I was moving out and he still didn't like Kat, still thought he was just my way of rebelling again. Not that I cared. "Thanks Yumi" I said as I took a box out of my sister's car "I really appreciate this" she grabbed a couple bags from the back and followed me inside. "This place is amazing" she swooned "and Katsuki just bought it for the two of you?"

"Yeah I did because first off you shouldn't have to live with your ass of a dad and second we're going to get married and I want to already be living with you when we do" Kat stated as he entered the room. At his revelation Fuyumi squealed "MY BABY BROTHER IS GETTING MARRIED!" She grabbed my hand and looked at the ring. It was a plain silver ring that to most wouldn't look like much but to me it meant the world. "Wait until mom finds out she's going to be so happy! Maybe we can go there later and you guys can tell her" she seemed really excited.

"I mean, you probably should meet my mom Kat" I added as an after thought. He rolled his eyes before he walked to me, grabbed me by the waist and gave me a kiss. "You're right, I haven't met your mom yet." That was almost too easy. Fuyumi got a text which she read "actually, maybe tomorrow, I have to go, congratulations again Shoto, Katsuki" she rushed away. "I gotta get a couple more things, I shouldn't be too long" I grabbed my keys and headed out. "Best not be too long I'm cooking lunch soon" he called before I shut the door.

I drove to the house I hated more than anything. The sooner I grabbed the last couple things the sooner I could leave and never go back there. I carefully opened the door and tried to secretly find out if my father was home. He didn't seem to be in but I still wanted to be quick. Before I got to my old room I heard the front door slam shut, that could only have been the one person I was trying to avoid. I quickly slid through the door to my room before closing it quietly.

My door flew open and my father stood in the entrance "Shoto, what is the meaning of this?" He asked referring to my now completely empty room. Something seemed to catch his eye "and what is that?" He grabbed my wrist "an engagement right? You finally left that loser boyfriend and found a girl with a good quirk?" I felt my heart racing and my anger going through the roof. "For your information no I haven't left my boyfriend he proposed to me" I paused "and I said yes, as for this" I gestured to the empty room "I'm moving in with him" I started to push past him.

Bakugou POV

I anxiously waited for Sho to text me letting me know he was on the way back and the longer I waited the more anxious I got. He had been gone for ages or at least it felt like he had been gone ages. I unlocked my phone and called him. No answer. Plan B I called Eijiro, he answered "sup bro?"
"Tell me I'm over reacting"
"What?"
"Dammit Eijiro, Shoto went to grab a couple more things from his dads and he's been gone ages, I tried calling but it just rang through. I need you to tell me I'm over reacting and that Shoto is fine"
"Dude, he's fine probably just having a catch up with his mom"
"Yeah, thanks, you're probably right, y'know he wants to introduce me to her"
"See he's probably just letting her know that she's gonna meet you soon"

I needed to hear that. Even though I knew Sho could take care of himself I still got nervous when he went back there. I placed his share of food in the microwave to keep any flies getting on it and sat to eat my own. I felt bad eating without Sho but I was also starving. He would understand.
