Bakugou POV

Something was wrong. Shoto had been gone for actual hours and that wasn't like him. If he was running late he would have let me know. He never lost track of time so it couldn't have been that. I called him for the twentieth time, my anxiety was through the roof.

BEEP BEEP

It didn't even ring. Naturally I called my best friend again
"Yo Bakubro what's up?"
"Why are you whispering? Nevermind I think something's wrong with Sho, I'm gonna check it out wanna come with me?"
"Yeah about that. I'm kinda already at his house"
"WHAT WHY?!"
"Just don't get mad. I got suspicious when you said the phone rang through. Even if he was with his mom he would have told you so when you didn't text to let me know he was back I kinda went to check out the house"
"Okay, okay, fine" I said trying not to get mad "stay where you are I'll be there in a bit" I hung up and headed out.

It wasn't long before I found the red headed idiot. "Hey idiot, you didn't tell anyone else right?" Sho hated the fact that anyone knew anything about his home life but I was glad that I had known. The amount of times during school, especially our last year, where he clearly needed help was unbearable. Even then he wouldn't tell anyone else and didn't want me to tell either.

Only reason the idiot currently next to me knew was because he had seen some of the burns on his right arm one of the times. Obviously we had to explain and Sho convinced him not to tell. "Of course not man, they just think I'm going for a walk" I smirked a little. He may be an idiot but he knows how to keep a secret. "Thank you" I mumbled.

We kept an eye on the large house trying to figure out a way to get in. Eventually I saw an opportunity "when those kids go past on their bikes again grab onto my back, I'll blast us over, the cameras will be focused on the kids not us" we waited until finally they came close enough for the cameras to pick up on their movements and face them.

Without even checking if Eijiro was on my back I blasted my way over the wall and into a new bush. There was no car so the flaming bastard Sho had the misfortune of calling his father was out. Once more I tried calling but it still didn't ring "straight to answer machine" I mumbled trying to stay quiet.

"Okay, I know you're anxious and worried but you gotta remember to breathe okay. Try to calm your nerves then we'll go in okay" I nodded trying to calm my damn breathing and steady my nerves. What if something really bad happened? Only one way we were going to find out. Once I was calm again we proceeded to enter the gigantic house. It was the first time I had actually been inside this house and it put the one I had bought to shame.

After being sure none of his family were in we split up "Shoto! Sho! You here?" I shouted out as I heard Eijiro shouting as well. "Candy cane are you in here?" I opened several doors and discovered two bathrooms, a huge kitchen a dining room and a training room the size of our house. The training room gave me shivers because I couldn't even begin to imagine the horrors Sho had faced in there.

I ran up some stairs and started shouting again more desperately "SHOTO!" I went to call something else when I heard movement. I stared for a few brief seconds at the door the sound seemed to come from before reaching for the door. My hand was on the door handle, heart pounding in my chest, and that's when I heard it. The soft sobs that I knew were coming from Sho.

I flung the door open to see he had been injured yet again. To make it worse he had been restrained exactly the way I had been during the sports festival, except I had probably deserved it. He was lying on the ground eyes closed sobbing right in front of me. "Sho, hey baby it's me, I'm here to rescue you" I stood up and took the muzzle off his gorgeous face. "K-Kat? How d-did you f-find me?" It broke my heart to see him like this.

"We broke in" just as I said that I heard Eijiro gasp behind me. "Any idea how to get those off, we don't have a key" Shoto shook his head but Eijiro seemed to have an idea. "We break them" he paused "they're exactly like the ones they used on you so with a little brute force" he hardened his fist "it should break in two" he punched hard and the restraints broke.

Sho rubbed his wrists a little before I pulled him into a hug "I swear if he comes anywhere near you again I'll kill him" I wiped away his tears and gave him a kiss. "Guys we have a problem" I didn't even need to ask what the problem was to know.
