Bakugo POV

I was the angriest I had ever been in my life. Once Deku was done with Shoto he threw him some clothes and walked over to me "see, I did that to him, I made him make those beautiful noises" he was lucky I couldn't use my quirk at that moment because I would have happily killed him. Deku unchained Shoto and left.

Shoto just lay there for a while crying and all I wanted to do was run over and hug him. Of course I couldn't do that because I was chained to the damn wall. I fought with the chains a little more before Shoto removed my muzzle and buried his face in my chest. I forgot about the chains and hugged him as hard as I could "I'm sorry Sho, I... I couldn't get out... I couldn't stop him... I..." I broke down into tears.

"It's not your fault" he mumbled into my chest. He started getting cold "Sho, is your quirk working?" He looked a little confused "I... I don't know... I couldn't while he..." he stopped mid sentence. "Try again now, see if you can freeze the chains" he nodded and successfully froze the chains. "Can you back up a little?" I asked. He did as I asked and I created a small explosion to free my arms.

"I swear to you he's gonna pay for this" I hated how sad he looked. No this isn't sad, he's emotionally shutting down again after everything he had been through I wasn't surprised. It was easier to shut out feelings sometimes. I felt my heart break as I realised that I hadn't been strong enough to help him. "I'm gonna get us out of here okay" I forgot about making that damn nerd pay for what he had done and focused on getting out.

We were almost out when I heard the news report "newly ranked number one heroes Icyhot and Ground Zero have officially been reported missing by their co-workers Creati and Uravity. If anyone knows anything of their whereabouts please do not hesitate to contact K and S heroes directly" that had only been one of the things I was trying to avoid.

I carried Sho out of the building before putting my gauntlets on "hold onto me okay" he nodded and climbed onto my back. I created explosions to catapult us towards his dads house. I banged on the door loudly not caring that it was insanely late. Shoto was still clinging onto my back like a koala and I grabbed my phone calling the office.

"Yo this is K and S heroes. It's your man Chargebolt and your girl Earphone Jack here right now..."
"Shut up damn pikachu"
"Katsuki! Where have you been you and Shoto have been gone for three days"
"Holy fuck! We been gone that long? Never mind... ah shit, that's why those two reported us missing, anyway we're safe, for now I'm just at Endeavour's gonna drop off Shoto then I'm heading in call everyone in" I hung up before he had chance to say anything because Endeavour opened the door.

"Katsuki? Is Shoto with you" he looked around not noticing the sleeping hero still clinging onto my back. I turned so he could see him "what happened to you? How did you find him? Where was he?" All very valid questions and none of them were going to be answered. "I gotta go catch the bastards so I'm leaving him here with you. Can I trust you to look after him until I get back?" He understood my trust issues with him "I'll take care of him"

We had to pry Shoto off my back so that I could go do my job as a hero and future husband. I blasted my way to the office to be met with a lot of questions "yeah, I'm not answering any of those" I stated before heading in. Once we were all in the same room I started "okay so here's what you need to know. I'm extremely pissed because Deku took Shoto. I don't know what he said to him but since we escaped Sho hasn't been himself because of it. Now I would very much like to kill the bastard." I gave as many details as I could leaving out the main thing that seemed to have broken Shoto.

"Wait... Deku... he did this... he's really with the league now?" Pink cheeks asked.  "No, he's not with them, he's leading them which is why Shoto wasn't injured as much as last time they took him" they could see how angry I was getting so Eijirou pulled me to the side. "So what are you not telling us?" At his question I looked away "I wanna tell you, I really do, but if I get into it I won't be able to help find and bring down the league, it's also not what they did to me so it's not my place to say anything"

"You know I'm here for you right bro, both of you"
"Yeah I know, I just wanna find these bastards"
"Where is Shoto anyway?"
"At his dad's house, he's been through a lot and I don't wanna upset him any more"
