Kirishima POV

I couldn't understand why everything seemed to be so difficult for them. Just as things were settling down and looking good something had to screw it up. I just wanted my best friend to be happy was that really too much to ask for. I kept messaging Mina so I was updated on how he was doing. "Someone really has it out for Ground Zero, someone just set his house on fire" I groaned as I pushed Denki off his chair "come on, let's see if we can make ourselves useful"

I was glad I insisted he stay at mine. The fire looked pretty bad, it had spread so me and Denki were in charge of making sure civilians were safe. While carrying one girl away from the fire I saw a figure in the corner of my eye. I couldn't make out who it was but, whoever it was they were tall. They disappeared into the smoke and I carried on with what I was doing. "First Icyhot dies and now this. Someone really seems to have it out for Ground Zero" I heard someone mumble. They were right, it was too much of a coincidence to ignore.

"Hey Chargebolt come here!" I called over to my friend. Once he was standing next to me I continued "does all of this seem suspicious to you?" Before he got to answer we heard the police radio from one of the cars "we've had a breakout from the max security prison. So far we can determine that escapees include but are not limited to Mr Compress, Shigaraki and Deku"

Of course they somehow escaped. It was probably Twice and Toga who had broken them out. "We should probably go check that out" Denki stated as we started heading towards the prison in question.

"There's no way they broke out without help from someone on the inside" Denki had a pretty good point "or maybe a rogue hero" as crazy as it sounded he could have been right. We looked around for any signs of a break in or out but came out empty handed. Something suddenly clicked "Chargebolt, come here" he came over to me "I bet the fire at Katsuki's was a distraction so that we wouldn't be able to stop this"

"It's gotta be linked somehow" it was the only thing that made sense. "For any heroes listening we found Deku, he's currently just outside UA he's demanding to speak to Ground Zero" we quickly grabbed Katsuki and went to face Deku. Naturally Katsuki was madder than he had ever been, and he had been plenty mad.

"GET DOWN HERE YOU FUCKING NERD!" Was the first thing he yelled. I would have been a lie to say I hadn't expected it. They fought it out for a while and all Chargebolt and I could do was protect the civilians. We could occasionally hear one of them yelling something at the other but I couldn't make out what they were saying.

Bakugo POV

"IM GONNA KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID YOU BASTARD!"
"YEAH RIGHT KACCHAN YOU'LL HAVE TO CATCH ME FIRST"
"YOU KILLED HIM!" I had no idea where we were anymore but as I yelled that last thing it made it official in my head. I had denied it for so long hoping that Shoto would wake up but he never did.

I collapsed on the roof of whichever building we were on top of. "You claim to have loved him but in the end... you killed him" I heard his footsteps getting closer. "Enough about him, I wanna show off my new man, sure, he's a little shy and doesn't talk much, but he's all mine" he teased. Another man stood amongst the fog who until that moment I hadn't even noticed. "You're right, I did kill Todoroki, but I moved on already" I could see him smirking as if Shoto's life was just one huge joke to him. I screamed at them, it wasn't anything in particular just a scream of pure hatred and annoyance. Before I could do or say anything else they vanished into a wall of blue fire. Shoto? No it couldn't be. He hadn't managed to get blue flames yet, although he had been trying.

"SHIT" I yelled to myself more than anyone else. I needed to figure out where I was and where I should have been. It wasn't long before I realised I was still fairly close to UA so I headed there. The fight had taken more out of me than I thought it had and as I got to the school I set off as many alarms as I could before I passed out.
