Bakugo POV

It pissed me off that there wasn't any clues and I had resorted to going to his family. I knocked on the door and waited for Endeavour to answer. "Katsuki right? Shoto's... fiance" I could see it pained him to say that last word and raised an eyebrow. "Yeah and as much as I hate to say it... I... need... your... help"

I explained what had happened and why I had lied to the press about Shoto going missing. I didn't want to screw up his reputation just as things were getting started for him. Luckily Endeavour seemed to agree with me, maybe he was serious when he told Shoto he wanted to make things up to him. "One more thing, Touya is also gonna help us out" I wasn't sure how he would react to that and at this point I also didn't care. I just wanted to find Shoto alive.

Touya entered the house "long time no see father" he taunted "don't worry I'm only here to help find Shoto then I'll be out of your life for good"
"Hey idiots now isn't the time for family drama so don't even start with the damn arguing and help me find my fiance got it" I tried not to explode. "Touya you were with them for a while any clues to where they might be?" He looked at the map and crossed off a few locations "definitely not there, too obvious" as he said that something occurred to him.

"Ah shit, I gotta go, I know what this is about" he went to leave but both me and Endeavour grabbed his arms "no, we do this together, then when we have him back I'm going to try to make up for what I've done to all of you" Touya looked surprised at his fathers words. "Okay, fine, then I guess we need a plan"

We came up with a plan that was pretty good. Touya would make it seem like he was alone. I would sneak round the back to get Shoto and Endeavour would cause a distraction for Touya to get out. It was simple, easy to remember and didn't have many steps. My favourite kind of plan. I swapped numbers with my future father-in-law so that I could let him know when to start his distraction.

We followed Touya to the old pub the league used to hang out at. Touya entered the building first. He didn't immediately leave so someone must have been there and I took it as my queue to go round back. "I know you've got no reason to trust me but if anything goes wrong don't hesitate to contact me" Endeavour said before I left.

As much as I hated what he had done he was still Shoto's dad. This was obviously just a dad being worried about his kid, and since he was trying to make up for everything I decided to try trusting him. It was only fair to Sho for me to at least try.

I quietly entered the building and searched for Shoto. There were a lot of rooms but they were all empty. Of course it wouldn't be that easy Shoto was nowhere to be found so I reached for my phone.
💥 he's not here we have to try somewhere else
🔥 okay head back to the house I'll get Touya.

I started heading for Endeavour's house when a familiar voice appeared from behind me. "Did you really think I wouldn't know you'd come looking for him" just the sound of his voice made me angry "Deku where is he? What have you done to him? I swear if you've hurt him..." he cut me off which pissed me off even more "oh I wouldn't dream of hurting him. I just wanted to talk to him, figure out why he chose you. I mean you were clearly stupid enough to fall into my little trap so what made him go for you?" it all made sense. Even after all this time he was still jealous and it had actually driven him insane.

"Why now though, why wait so long to get back at us? If you really loved him you would want him to be happy" I basically growled at him. Before I could say anything else I felt a sharp prick in the side of my neck and I passed out.
