Bakugo POV

Everything fucking hurt but it was nothing compared to the sight of Shoto lying unconscious in the bed next to me. I was glad that Touya didn't tell Endeavour what happened before. If Shoto wanted him to know he'd tell him himself. I tried to roll out of the bed "what are you doing?" Touya asked sounding concerned.

"I gotta get up, there's something I gotta do before Deku's trial tomorrow" they looked at me as if I was mad. "Just help me out here, Touya, get me to the police would ya" he rolled his eyes at me "only because I know you'll try to go without me if I don't"

It didn't take long to get to the police station "I'll just wait out here" Touya stated as I stumbled in. "Ground Zero? What happened?" I waved off the people trying to help me and ignored the question. "I gotta fill in a report on the Deku situation before the trial so gimme the paperwork and a pen" they did as I demanded and I quickly filled in the paperwork before slamming it on the desk. "I gotta go" and just like that I left.

Touya was still waiting for me outside "okay, back to the hospital it is" I fell and he caught me "thanks" we helped me walk back to the hospital and back to the room. I collapsed on the bed "is he awake?" I asked with my eyes closed. "Not yet, the doctor came in while you were gone, he's not happy with you, but he did say that it's looking good, hopefully he'll wake up soon" he paused "Touya, you might have to go, overheard someone talking about calling the police"

"Keep me updated" I heard Touya say before he left. "I'm sorry" I shot up in shock "I know I haven't exactly been very accepting of you but just hearing how you were willing to protect Shoto, seeing for myself how much you clearly love each other makes me realise that I should have given you a chance"

"No shit sherlock. I guess I'm sorry too. Back in school I know I hurt Shoto, on your orders might I add. Just know I'm never going to apologise for how much I love him. If you tell anyone I said this I'll deny it but he honestly makes me feel like I can be a better person. He makes me the best version of myself" I still had my eyes closed so it came as a bit of a surprise when he asked why I loved Shoto.

"If you really wanna know at first I had no intention of falling for him, he was just my biggest rival, the one to beat with insane fucking strength, then he needed help so I helped him. The more I got to know him the more I realised he's also one of the smartest people I know. He has an insane amount of determination and he's so stupidly kind, sometimes too kind for his own fucking good. He seemed really cold towards everyone at first but once I got through his walls I also saw how much he truly cares, that's why Deku being the way he is now, the things that bastard has done, hurt him so much. On top of that he's always there for his friends when they need him no matter what bullshit he's dealing with and he's so fucking hot its unbelievable"

I knew I would be redder than Shoto's hair. It was embarrassing that I poured my heart and soul out to Endeavour about how much I loved his son. "If you tell him or anyone else I said any of that I'll deny it" I got off the bed and sat in the chair next to Shoto. I was still exhausted "I'm glad it was you" was all Endeavour said before he left. I fully expected someone to come tell me to get back in bed or to go home or something like that but nothing happened I simply sat holding Shoto's hand. All I wanted was for him to wake up and be okay.

I must have fallen asleep because next thing I know I'm waking up to the sound of a familiar voice. "Kat? You okay?" I shot up suddenly awake. "Sho? I'm fine you okay?" I didn't even try to hide the worry in my voice. "Yeah, my head hurts a little and I'm a little cold but I'll be fine" he smiled I grabbed him another blanket "did you mean what you said last night Kat?" oh shit he heard me I could play this one of two ways. I could either come clean or play dumb.

"Who's Kat?" shit not that dumb "What did I say?" Playing dumb it was. He recited exactly what I had said about why I loved him. "YOU HEARD ALL THAT! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING?" he laughed a little before holding his head in pain. "When I woke up the first thing I heard was you saying you weren't going to apologise for how much you love me, then my dad asked why you love me and I was curious so I just listened"

"You're an idiot sometimes. Don't over use your quirk, not for me okay. I don't know what I would have done if you couldn't make it out of this" I paused noticing he felt warm "thought you said you were cold" he nodded. Something didn't feel right "I am cold" he shuddered a little.

"Sho, you're not cold, you're burning up" I felt his forehead "really badly actually. I'm gonna get a nurse or doctor" I rushed to find someone and found a nurse "hey, Shoto says he's cold but he feels like he's burning up" the nurse nodded and followed me while lecturing me about how I should also be in bed. She did some tests "he is burning up so I don't know why he feels cold I'll go get the doctor"

She left the room and Shoto looked at me "w..what's wrong?" He was shivering and it scared me a little. How could he be burning up but feel so cold that he was shivering? It didn't make sense. His right arm started to get some frost on it and his left looked as though he was starting to burn. It was his quirk.

I ran to UA as fast as I could and asked to speak to Eraserhead. He came to the gates "Shoto is in hospital his quirk is going nuts please help him" he followed me without saying anything. I had only been gone for fifteen minutes but when I got back they wouldn't let me see him. "He's gone into critical condition we need to stabilise his quirk"

"WHY DO YOU THINK I BROUGHT HIM" I yelled pointing at Aizawa. "I can erase his quirk for a while" at his words they led him to Sho. Endeavour and the rest of Shoto's family were in the waiting room as well. After what felt like hours they finally let us see him.
