Todoroki POV

I had got home and still not heard from Kat so I called him again. Still no answer. I tried the office.
"Hey its K and S heroes here Red Riot speaking"
"Eijirou its Shoto"
"Yo Shoto what's up my dude?"
"Is Kat still there?"
"Nah he left on an emergency call he's with Denki and Momo"
"So everything is okay? I tried calling him"
"Yeah he left his phone here, I was gonna answer but I didn't get to the phone in time"
"Thanks that makes me feel better, I should get going"
"Bye I'll tell him to let you know when he's on the way back"
"Thanks"

I threw my phone on the bed and went for a shower. Once I was out I turned on the news. It was then that I realised the hero rankings were coming up soon. They only announced the top ten because of how many there were but everyone was still ranked somewhere. My father was still at number one somehow and at the last rankings Kat was number ten I was number six. "In relation to the upcoming hero rankings we have the results for the agency rankings which will be announced during tomorrow's show". I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up a few hours later in bed "hey sleepy head" Kat teased from across the room. He was getting out of his hero suit so was shirtless which made me blush. I could tell he was smirking so I threw a cushion at him "why you gotta be so sexy?" As soon as I said I slapped my hand over my mouth and felt my face warm up as it turned as red as my hair. "Sho, you're on fire again" I quickly put myself out and walked over to Kat hugging him from behind "I love you, I hope you know that candycane" I kissed him on the neck "I love you too" I went to get something to eat only to find Kat was ahead of me yet again.

"You like?" I nodded and sat down so we could eat together "sorry I made you worry but I cooked and I'm glad you got to talk to dumb hair to check up on me" I smiled at him as I finished my food. "I mean I know you can look after yourself but I still got worried... who's on the night shift tonight?" He thought about it for a while and finished his mouthful of food "it's pink cheeks and elbows tonight" he finished his food and I took our plates to wash. "You've got me all day tomorrow, I'm on the night tomorrow with dumb hair" he added.

I put the plates away before I sat with Kat "so, I um spoke to my dad today." He instinctively wrapped his arms around me "it's okay, he just wanted to talk, said he wants to change, to try to make up for what he's done and I think he means it" I kissed Kat on the cheek. Eventually we decided to get some sleep and went to bed.

Bakugou POV

I wasn't looking forward to doing the night shift but someone had to do it. We both got ready to go to the ranking ceremony before we climbed into the car, as usual my gauntlets were in the back. There was no way I could drive with those on. We pulled up outside the venue and parked the car. Just after lunch time they announced the agency rankings. I was only vaguely listening until "and finally at number one agency despite being so new is K and S Heroes!"

Shoto grabbed my hand and we went to get the trophy they gave out every year. We made a speech and by we I mean I held the trophy that we weren't even bothered about while Sho thanked people before we sat back down. After that they let us go so they could finish determining the individual hero rankings. Loads of people came to congratulate us "excuse me for a moment Sho, I just gotta check something out" I could have sworn I saw that damn nerd staring at Sho. By the time I had got through the crowd he had vanished. After a couple hours all the heroes had to crowd into a small room. We were about to find out our rankings.

"And now for the top ten heroes" the extras cheered and when they calmed down Present Mic continued. "At number ten we have Real Steal" at his name Eijirou wannabe stood on the stage behind Mic "at number nine we have Echo" Shinso stepped up. "Number eight is Suneater, seven is Endeavour" he paused "still going good I see" I laughed a little at how he had fallen from one to seven. "Six goes to Earphone Jack, five is Creati, four is Hawks" as Mic called everyone's names they took to the stage. "Three is Chargebolt, two is Red Riot and number one hero" he paused and started rumming on the stand for dramatic effect but I knew he would call out Shoto's hero name. "Wow! This is a first! WE HAVE A JOINT FIRST PLACE BETWEEN ICYHOT AND GROUND ZERO!" As I heard him shout my hero name my confusion grew. Shoto grabbed my hand and basically dragged me to the stage.
