Chapter 6 ~ eaves dropping.

My mom stares at me , unable to comprehend what she's seeing right now.
"Who's this Mattia?" She sounds panicked but I look at her as if to say 'keep your voice down'
She's stood there looking at me still waiting for a reply.
"Fine, it's this girl I like , I wanted to spend time with her and I invited her round to watch a movie , she fell asleep and I got worried that she might get into an accident because she's tired. I lay her here and I was gonna go in the guest bedroom but she asked me to stay because she felt safe with me."

I really don't know why I said that to my own mom but I just said it. I think it was because I'd spoken to nobody about it.

She just looked at me trying to comprehend what I'd just said.

"So you've done no funny business whilst we've been gone no?" She asked.

I wish.

Sometimes I wish I could punch my subconscious in the face.

"Nope we literally just watched a movie and I'm here to help her feel safe. I feel safe aswell so I'm not exactly gonna move"

my moms eyes softened.

"awh , ok well I'll leave you two then. Night"

"Night mom" I replied.

I looked down at the angel that was cuddling me and I couldn't believe this was happening. I woke up oblivious to who this girl was and now this is the only place I want to be. I feel like I've known her for years.

Without realising it I was playing with her hair. It just felt sort of....right? I don't know. I've never felt like this and it honestly scares me.

Mattia , you've known her a DAY , calm down.

Just then I heard emery stirr in her sleep. I've never been so happy to cuddle someone in my entire life.

Without realising I'd drifted off to sleep.

I started to wake up hearing a conversation unraveling. I'm not a heavy sleeper but I can pull off looking asleep , I knew I was in Mattia's house but I didn't want people to know I was awake and listening.

Yes I like to eavesdrop don't judge me.

I think he's telling his mum why he's in bed with a random girl aka if you didn't know already , that would be me.
"It's this girl I like"

As he explained the rest to his mum I finally realised....

I was internally doing a happy dance and my heart felt like it was flipping. I don't usually do exercising but whatever Mattia was doing to me and my poor heart. My poor poor heart. I liked it , a lot.
But it's just too much exercise.....

Once his mum had left he literally started playing with my hair.
It felt so nice omg

I had to make a noise.

I turned it into me looking like I just 'stirred' in my sleep. I think he believed it.

I was way too tired to keep myself awake with my eyes closed like do you know how hard that is?!
So I just decided to doze off again.

But I honestly have never been so happy to cuddle someone in my entire life.
