Chapter 4 ~ Mattia.

I'd just gotten home from school and I couldn't stop thinking about the new girl today. She's tiktok famous? How have I never seen her before? I needed to stop thinking about her this much. I went onto tiktok because why wouldn't I? It's addicting. I clicked on my recent tiktok and clicked on the comments to see what everyone was saying.

It was Emery . It looked like she commented this morning before school. Her comment read

'Your cute or whateva'

That's how she must've new me from earlier. When she turned around to see who I was I could see the shock in her eyes but I played it off cool. I KNEW she knew me from tiktok. Take that receptionist. Ha

I thought I'd reply because I wanted to show her that I'd actually saw it. Not to embarrass her but so I could actually talk to her. Why do I want to talk to her? I've known her a day.
I have to admit when she looked up at me in the cafeteria when she fell. Again. Her eyes were the most gorgeous shade of brown that I'd seen I have brown eyes too but not as beautiful as hers. I mean everything about her was gorgeous. In that moment impulse took over and I wanted to kiss her. But the moment was ruined.

I replied to her comment with,

'Oh am I now?😏'

I don't know why I replied with that. But I did. Don't judge me.
I then clicked on her page.

How have I not come across this girl before? Have I been living under a rock?

Her tiktoks are really good. she looks gorgeous as she always does. I followed her and-

I knew it wasn't because of the receptionist. I smirked to myself.

I was home alone because my parents and my little brother had gone out somewhere but I didn't really wanna go because I could'nt stop thinking about her and there is no way I'd keep my focus on what was going on around me when she's taken up my thoughts.

I decided to just text her because she told me her insta so I figured why not.

I wasn't expecting a reply from her because I was acting cocky but I didn't wanna start the conversation with just .....hi

E : duh , have you seen youself? your the definition of cute.

wow so she's bold , wasn't expecting that.

I blushed to myself. she said I was cute.

They called me to the office JUST to ask how I was doing on my first day.

When I got home I couldn't stop thinking about him. The two incidents. How the first time when he hugged me to stop me from embarrassing myself infront of the whole school , I wanted to stay like that forever. How I'd felt so safe and secure.How the second time we almost kissed. But the moment was ruined.

My phone beeped. It was an instagram notification.

I was already following him, oh no, he's probably seen my comment on tiktok.

Then another instagram notification popped up.

I clicked on it because why would I ignore such a perfect human being? excactly , I wouldn't.

but instead of feeling embarrassed I felt.....confident? I dont know why. It was weird.

I smirked to myself. How did I not feel embarrassed?

but was I gonna tell him that?

Ha nope.

E:No , I just think your cute.Like literally the definition of perfect and cute mixed together.

I was trying to be confident but not that confident.

I wanted to delete the message. I just called him perfect.

m: well I was thinking of watching a movie but my family aren't home and my friends always disrupt half way through. So , do you want to come over?
