My dad still didn't know that I know about his secret affair but I was planning on outing him. Tonight.

It had been a few days since I found out and it's been hard to hide my hatred infront of him. I'd told Mattia what had happened and he was beyond pissed so he agreed to help me out him.
Tonight my whole family from the UK were coming to Jersey to celebrate the end of covid-19. My dad was the golden boy in our family. He worked hard. Had a loyal wife and daughter at his side. Got straight A's in highschool.

what the heck could go wrong for him? He said that his secret would ruin his image. Of course it would. It shows he cannot he faithful or loyal despite the vows he recited on my parents wedding day.

Mattia was scrolling through tiktok on my bed whilst I got ready. I'd picked out a lilac cropped jumper with black high waisted jeans. My brown hair flowed down my back with curls at the bottom. I finished applying my makeup and that's when the adrenaline rush came. I was so ready to expose my dad. I didn't care what it would do to our family. I don't and will not tolerate a snake. I've had enough of fake people in my life.

Whether it's my dad or not. He may be my blood but his blood has snake venom in it. The things he said about me and my mum I will never tolerate.

Me and Mattia were sitting in my living room waiting for my family to arrive, my mum was rushing around making sure everything was tidy. My dad....was on his phone. Probably texting that...woman.

The doorbell rings. Here we go. I look at Mattia who squeezes my hand reassuringly.

My family were gathered at the table, in the middle of eating our food. Mattia looked at me as if to ask if it was time. I nodded my head.

I connected my phone to the speaker but nobody noticed because it was so loud.
I find the recording on my phone. There it is.

I act like I'm absentmindedly eating and my hand reaches down to press play, making sure the speakers are on high volume.

"Yes babe don't worry I've already told them I've got a business trip to go to. We will have the whole weekend to ourselves"......

The whole table was silent. My dad was pale. Staring at the speakers wide eyed. His voice coming through the speakers, showing my family how unloyal my dad is to our family.

They all listened in shock at how badly he spoke about us to his 'mistress' my mother sat there, tears welling up in her eyes. My whole family, were angry as can be.

The audio had fully played by now and the sound stopped.
"W-who did that" "w-w-ho overheard it" "who recorded it?" My dad asked looking down at his legs.

"I did." I stated simply. "You really should learn that the walls aren't soundproof. I heard all of it." My whole family looked at me wide eyed.

"DOES YOUR MARRIAGE MEAN NOTHING TO YOU?!" My Grandma asked my dad. "YOU STUPID STUPID BOY"

I sat there looking at my dad with my eyebrows raised. He looked at me giving me a glare. I only smirked.

my mother sat there with tears rolling down her cheeks. I felt bad for her. But I know my mother and I know that she doesn't like it when the truth is glossed over.

My 5 year old cousin went over to my dad and tapped him on the shoulder. "I never liked you anyway" my cousin said to him.

I struggled to hide my laugh but I kept it in. Mattia clearly had a harder time though.

After the dinner. Everyone had decided they wanted to go back to their hotels because "seeing your dads face makes me want to lash out" so they left. Mattia stayed much to my fathers protests.

"Dad I don't think you have a say. I mean, I'm not the one who's been sneaking around." I said to him.

"Thankyou for exposing him Emery, even though it hurts a little, I'm thankful." My mother said to me. I walked over to her and gave her a hug. I then felt another presence joining in. It was Mattia.

as me and mattia got into my bedroom he said "damn that was one heck of a power move. My girlfriend amazes me"

I felt him wrap his arms around my torso from behind as he nestled his head into the crook of my neck.

"I missed you Mattia, so much"
