It's finally here! The end of 2019, this year has been one hell of a rollercoaster. Even though some pretty bad things happened I'm the happiest I've ever been.
I'm really bummed that I had to quit figure skating back in the UK this year but , recently I found a rink in New Jersey. I just need to find a coach which won't be too hard , maybe it will but we'll cross that bridge when we actually come to it.

"Bro have you seen your girlfriend figure skating? She's fire" my friend Ethan was literally just none stop going on and on about Emery's figure skating which made me wonder how he even knows about that or how he's seen it. So obviously the logical thing to do is ask.

"Hey how do you know about Emery's figure skating? How have you seen them?" He was literally trying not to laugh when he says "dude , theirs a thing called YouTube?" He says sarcastically "Her skating is all over there"

I finish my conversation with Ethan and head offline and actually do something productive with my last day of 2019 rather than playing Xbox...

I was basically persuading myself not to do anything productive but did I care. No. Why would I care?
But before I FaceTime Emery I need to see these videos Ethan was going on about.
I type her name into the search bar and loads of videos come up. So I click the first video that pops up.

The video started and I was confused for a second. Then she got up and started skating in....

It's 6pm and I'd just arrived at my besties house. If you want me to go into detail it's emery's house stoopid. The boys and Lily are still due to arrive but honestly I'm ready to partayy

It's not really a party but let's just imagine it is.

I went shopping especially for this 'party'. I'm wearing a sparkly long sleeve top that hung off my shoulders tucked into my high waisted black jeans. I wore black converse because I'm not going to hurt my feet am I. Duh , nope.

I forgot to add that this isn't Emery's usual house , it's her dads lake house. It has 3 bedrooms and it's absolutely beautiful, it's got a homey but modern vibe to it. It small but quite large at the same time. It overlooks a big lake which is frozen over right now.
I knock on the door but theirs no answer. I know that Emery's already here because she FaceTimed me when she got here , I let myself in because I'm not waiting I'm not that patient.

I'm starting to wonder if you know me at all like jeez why would you think I'd wait hahaha

"Hello?" I shouted , but there was no answer. Emery's bags and stuff were here and she'd labelled everyone's rooms , one for each couple. Obviously her and mattia got the master bedroom but honestly I think that's unfair and I should've got it because I'm superior.

I'm kidding calm down
I see the sliding glass door is open so I put my bags down in the living room and walk outside onto the ledge that overlooks the lake , to see a silhouette too far away for me to identify skating around , it was so beautiful and....I hear the others. I left the door open so they'll probably walk right in. I get lost in my thoughts again watching the person skating until I feel a set of arms wrap around me.

Alejandro.
"Hey" I say as I kiss him and turn back around. They all look out to what I'm looking at and all seem as mesmerised as I am. The silhouette comes closer as she spins and does many other tricks. For me to then realise.

It's Emery.
She starts spinning on the spot faster and faster and I'm beyond impressed. I'd be falling over if I did that.
She skids to a stop and turns around to skate back to the lake house when she sees all of us.

"WOOHOOOO EMERY THAT WAS AMAZING" I shout because nobody else was talking , she smiles at me and starts to head back. She sits onto the ledge and takes her skates off and once she gets them off she jumps up and gives everyone a hug and a hello and obviously kisses Mattia when she greets him duh
They're just too cute.
Social media's been wild since we all posted the video of mattia and emery saying I love you to eachother. Like literally the amount of edits that have been made for them is cray-ze.
For example , the comments on the tiktok they made on Christmas were as follows...

I've got to admit ever since Emery's first day they've had undeniable chemistry like my oh my. The tension that was there between them was so hard to breathe in.

I'm so happy they're all here. I begged my dad for us to let him use the lake house and he finally caved and allowed us. I can't help but feel like Mattia's looking at me abit differently than usual. He's always close by and is always either hugging me from behind or has his arm around my waist and he'll kiss me whenever he can. Everything he does it's in desperation and want. I need to know if something's bothering him because he's acting strange....
"Guys can you excuse me and mattia for a moment , I need to talk to him about something." They all nod and I take Mattia's hand and take him towards our room where I'm planning to ask him what the hell is wrong.

As I shut the door behind me and have turned back around Mattia's eyes have gone way darker than I have ever seen them before. I try to keep my cool because my oh my he's very attractive right now. I mean he's always attractive but it's affecting me way more than usual.

"ok so , spill Mattia" I clear my throat because he's looking directly into my eyes and it feels like he's looking right into my soul. "Is something wrong? Because you've been acting abit strange today , you keep looking at me like that and you keep wanting to be near me and I don't know it's just a little different because like-"

I was blabbering but I was stopped when Mattia walks a few steps so he's right in front of me and grabs my face and pulls me in to kiss him. I open my mouth to grant him entrance as our tongues collide together. We're like this for I don't even know how long but I'm in a trance that I can't get out of.

"well that's definitely talking about something" Ida says from by the door. I look over shocked and I see her and Alejandro standing there with big smirks on their faces.
