2-- Memmories

All the memmories of his life flashed before my eyes just as they had with that other boy. What was his name? Jason Grace? Yes that was it. That boy was destined for greater things.

I saw Perseus with that girl, Anniebell. I had to admit that they were kinda cute together but it was clear that Aphrodite didn't give them enough drama. Like, come on. A mortal girl getting in the way of their relationship? That's just- lame. Oh no. This would be much better. And what was more, I could get back at the wicked blonde girl.

I am a goddess and yet she has the nerve to insult me.

Then again, I'll need to leave just one memmory behind with the boy.

That seems good. Yes. His mother. Sally Jackson.

Perfect.

Now, to get rid of everything else.

I felt a sweep of air fly through me and my eyes closed in concentration. They were all slowly starying to dissapear. He was just sleeping in his cabin at the moment, but soon he'll wake up at the Wolf House.

I felt the memmories of his childhood fly away. Memmories of Grover, Chiron, Tyson, Clarrisse, they all went away.

Then something else happened.

The memmories of Sally Jackson dissapeared too. That wasn't meant to happen. Every single memmory went away. Except one.

One memmory refused to leave. I felt it tugging away slowly but he refused to let it go. It was clinging on to him as if his life depended on it. Like he couldn't afford to let go of it.

A growing headache pounded inside my head, screaming at me to stop. But I tried again. It didn't budge.

Finally I gave up. My eyes fluttered open and I slumped into my throne. I heaved in a sigh and sat up.

It was then I realised what that memmory was.

It was of Annabeth Chase. Her blonde hair and her intimidating, stormy grey eyes. The way she laughed. The way she smiled. They way she just shook her head, muttering "seaweed brain" under her breath in agitation but smiling all the same.

It was then I realised how strong their love really was.

So strong that not even I, the Queen of the Gods could take their memmories of each other.
