THIS IS WAR | INFINITY WAR
Chapter One
⚡️

THE GROWL OF A CHEETAH ECHOED THROUGH THE DARKNESS AS A BLUE HUE ENGULFED A CORNER. The translucent spirit wrapped around the smaller woman's figure, the hollow eyes narrowed at the very being who took down the large ship with the flick of his hand. The emerald blade twirled smoothly between her fingers as she dashed back over the gap, the dried blood coating her wound cracking and slipping from her brusied skin. Her voice was dead, but an animalistic like snarl left her mouth in fury, the bruise beneath her eye causing pain that went unnoticed as adrenaline took the wheel.

Her fist collided with the alien's, causing a pain to shoot through that arm, but nonetheless she pursued. The Dragonfang swung around and slashed the strong armour but soon enough, even that was ripped from her grip. The ancient sword clung loudly against the debris as it skidded across the dusty floors, leaving her defenseless in front of the evil Titan. The confidence that the Wildlife Stone offered momentarily was completely gone as fear replaced her determination whilst she stared up at Thanos, who looked down in disgust.

"Pathetic," Thanos snarled, glaring at her.. "How were you ever worthy of the wildlife stone?" Animalia cried out in pain before Thanos let her go, throwing her with ease across the burning ship. She rolled across the dusty ground, wheezing painfully, blood slipping off her bottom lip and decorating her dark skin with scarlet red. As her body skidded to a stop against the debris, Animalia failed to move as she laid limply, unimaginable pain flowing through her broken body. "You're no Animalian," Thanos scoffed, as he watched her body roll and eventually halt painfully. "You're a disgrace to Zelea and that title." Tears broke free from Animalia's eyes as she watched from the distance, the fear in her body leaving her paralysed with fear.

Ebony Maw swiftly moved through the piles of bodies, the scent of death never once phasing as it was the same as the hundreds of times slaughter had happen before. "Hear me and rejoice!" he announced, gliding past Heimdall's outstretched hand, making the Asgardian move it back to an open wound, praying to stop that gushing blood escaping the broken skin. "You have had the privilege of being saved by the Great Titan. You may think this is suffering, no... It is salvation. The universal scales tipped towards balance of your sacrifice. Smile, for even in death... You have become children of Thanos."

Maw walked past Loki, the God of Mischief holding an unreadable expression as he watched from a distance. He stood with the Black Order, making Animalia feel betrayed after everything he did with them on Sakaar and saving the Asgardian race... Though, that seemed irrelevant now...

Thanos turned slightly, looking to the god that laid near him, Thor not even making eye contact as he practically laid lifeless across the cracked tiling. "I know what it's like to loose. To feel so desperately that you're right... Yet to fail, nonetheless."

With ease, Thanos grabbed Thor by his collar, pulling him up effortlessly to his height. Animalia lifted her head weakly, turning to the side and coughing loudly. Blood splattered onto the floor before Animalia let her head collapse on her arms again, unable to bring herself to move.

"As lightning turns the leg to jelly," Thanos frowned as he casted a glance at Thor before focusing on Loki. "I ask you, to what end? Dread it, run from it... Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here... Or should I say," The mad Titan lifted his gaunlet, allowing them to see the Power Stone planted perfectly in one of the open spaces. It shimmered brightly under the dim light, casting a violet shade over the invaders and allowing a spotlight to be placed over the Mad Titan. "I am."
