(This is not directly following the previous chapter's events, this is just a cute Christmas chapter where I get to write some fluff. This will take place around season 3. Also, this chapter is long, so be warned lol)

Winter. Hordak hated winter on Etheria. Partly because it was cold, but mostly because of Etheria's traditions. While many existed, from lighting many candles to putting up trees, and many beliefs were celebrated, he didn't understand them. He didn't really want to.

However no matter how hard he had tried in the past to diminish these worthless activities in the Fright Zone over the years, they always remained. He let them, eventually, simply because they were a once a year thing.

That didn't mean those traditions didn't annoy him. He thought, no matter what belief or tradition it was, was incredibly stupid and had no use in the long run.

So he never celebrated, and he wanted to keep it that way. But then there was Entrapta.

Hordak has originally thought that the princess would share his view on the holidays, being to involved in work to care, but he was wrong. Because here, right in front of him, was Entrapta, dressed in a ridiculously itchy looking green sweater.

It was hideous. Who would wear such a thing? He found himself scowling at it, yet couldn't look away from it. It's patterns were so intricate, yet half-rushed. It was ugly but...worked? At least on Entrapta it did.

Entrapta was currently fiddling with a panel atop Emily's head when she heard Hordak speak. His voice was almost quizzically disgusted, if that was possible.

"What are you wearing?"

Entrapta, who had been wearing her mask, flipped it up with a hair tendril as she turned to face Hordak. "A sweater." She simply responded. Having turned around fully Hordak saw just how ugly the rag of clothing was.

It had some sort of red blob suffocating a purple blob, with a orangish blob shoved into a corner of the front side. All of it was surrounded with tinsel like designs and snowflakes.

"Why are you wearing it?" Hordak re-phrased, still scowling at the garment. "I like it. Scorpia made it more me. See? That's her right there, and she's giving me a hug." Entrapta used a hand to straighten out the sweater before another hand pointed at the red and purple blob.

So that's what it was? It only looked slightly clearer to Hordak once it was explained to him, and his scowl dropped so his face could look more confused. "But it's hideous." He seethed, quickly turning around to give his eyes a rest from the disgusting piece of clothing. That, and he didn't want to see if that made Entrapta upset.

She was so confusing to him as of late. Why did he care if he hurt her or not? He was supposed to be a horrific leader, not someone who cared for a princess.

That didn't stop him from secretly caring, though. "Oh." Entrapta, mumbled, looking down over the garment. She sounded a bit hurt, but quickly put up an air of confidence as she spoke again. "It's kinda meant to be that way, though. Haven't you heard of ugly Christmas sweaters?"

"No. And I don't want to. It is beyond me that anyone would willingly wear something so.."
"Ugly? That's the point. It's fun." Entrapta finished Hordak's sentence, a piece of her hair shutting her mask over her face again.

"How is wearing something so itchy looking fun?" Hordak questioned. Before Entrapta could answer, though, the Horde leader spoke again. "Never mind. I don't need to know."

Entrapta shut her mouth, making a tight lipped expression behind her mask. "Do you..like other Etherian holiday traditions, though?" She asked, turning back to Emily and picking up a screwdriver with her hair. She un-screwed some smaller panels within the robot, and removed them, glancing around at its inside contents.
