Entrapta wasn't worried about any of this.Actually, correction. Entrapta wasn't worried about any of this because she didn't hear any of this.
She had recalled once Imp had left that she hadn't properly cleaned herself since before Beast Island, and realized she probably smelled horrible. She hadn't expected Imp to try to come back soon, so she got in the shower, the water spraying down so loudly she couldn't hear anything.
You've gotta love her timing, huh?
But either way, taking a shower was a long endeavor for Entrapta. Usually, she'd take baths, those making it much easier to soak her hair and wash it to the best of her ability. She pretty much never got in the shower unless it was to wash off her skin of something. So washing her hair here took a lot longer than usual.
This doesn't mean she enjoyed her shower, though. The entire time while she was rigorously shampooing her hair- both with her hands and her hair itself- her thoughts plagued her.
Not fun or exciting thoughts, either. Nothing about being in the infinite universe now, nothing about all this new technology and the things she could learn and discover, not even a few sadly comforting memories of Etheria. No. These thoughts were on him. Hordak.
Entrapta liked solving problems, and this was her biggest problem as of now. Why was it a problem, though? Well in order to find that out she had to think. She had to dig deep into her own memories, her old feelings, and emotions.
Her eyebrows furrowed together as her hands delicately ran through her long hair to untangle any knots made by her vicious attempt at shampooing. She took in a breath of the steamy air, it being so humid and cleansing at the same time to her. It would be okay. She looked to her hair, starting to un-twist a particularly stubborn knot as she let her thoughts pour into her brain.
'Okay Entrapta, you need to remember that day. The last day you saw Hordak.'
That's right, that day. The day she was ordered to go to Beast Island, the day the portal opened. She had been talking to Scorpia about the portal when she was hit with just how dangerous this portal could be. But when she tried to tell Hordak, he got mad and yelled at her to finish it anyway. Then he sent her away.
But that wasn't right. She was getting things mixed up.
No, no. Let's sort this through.
Entrapta did talk to Scorpia about the portal, and that's when she noticed its danger and tried to tell Hordak. That was right. But something or someone stopped her and put her on course to Beast Island. And she had a feeling it wasn't Hordak. But then who...
Okay, think logically here. Hordak was the only person who had the authority to send Entrapta to Beast Island, but she has a feeling that he didn't. So who would be underneath Hordak to even know that could be done? Entrapta surely didn't do that to herself, and she was close to Hordak. So what other position was the next up?
That would be Force Captain, wouldn't it? But Scorpia sure didn't send her there. So that would leave only one other Force Captain she knew of. Catra.
Her hands moved passed the knot in her hair, having sorted it out. Entrapta knew Catra and her weren't the best of friends, but would she really do that to her?
Entrapta ran her fingers through that area of her hair a few more times just to make sure there were no obstacles left in it.
Well, she'd be the only person who could, then.
Her hands being satisfied with the lack of knots in that area, Entrapta moved her hands to an area near the bottom of her hair, where another tangle of hair was messed up. Sticking her fingers through the areas she could easily pull apart from one another, she let her thoughts move on.
