She followed Jack home in silence. Neither one of them shared a word, but Jack's heavy breathing let her know he was mad. Diana couldn't blame him, after all he had been confronted with his biggest fear, the love she felt for other. Jack opened the door to their house and let her pass, then he let it close strongly behind him. Diana entered their bedroom after and prepared herself, she had been married to Jack for six years so she knew he would burst once the door of their bedroom was closed. The door slammed and she closed her eyes, she took a deep breath and prepared herself for a round of accusations. At any moment Jack would yell at her but when he didn't, she turned around.

He was quietly leaning against the door. His eyes raging, his lines rigid. Their eyes locked in each other for brief instants, then Jack shook his head in disbelief. Diana didn't know if he was looking at her disappointed, hurting or raging. She was a little confused, but then he spoke.

"It doesn't matter Di...it's doesn't matter how much I try... it doesn't matter what I do... you always end up doing something for him. It's always him... always... you don't even measure danger." He told her.

"Let me explain Jack..." She said with trembling voice, but he cut her short. Jack raised a hand for her to stop and shook his head again.

"Don't... you don't have to explain." He said looking at her. His eyes were shinning so much. "I get the picture clearly..." Jack's voice choke in the end. "Five years... five years in India weren't enough to erase him..."

Diana thought about saying something but then she thought it was better if she didn't say anything. She just bent her head down and looked at her feet. She was willing to take the humiliation or whatever he was going to pull out. None of what he said was a lie.

"How is that you never forget about him and you forget all about us..." Jack's tone had changed to a furious one. "You forget all about me, about Megan..."

Diana raised her head and shook it. "I never forget about Megan. She comes above anything."

"Does she?" Jack took a step forward. "Did she come first tonight when you left the house to rescue him? When you put yourself in such danger just to help HIM?" Jack pointed out. "HIM..." He yelled then. "For him..."

"I didn't think... I just..." Diana shut up. She didn't know what to say and certainly Jack wasn't going to understand. She could pull out a bigger fight than that, but Jack was already paying for his actions. He was just seeing that nothing he had done had been fruitful except for the time they were in India. So no, she knew she didn't have to throw anything in his face.

"Why am I never good enough? Why? Why is it that you cannot let go of him?" WHY?" He grabbed by her shoulders and shook her. "Why is that you don't forget him? Why do we have to live haunted by him?"

She began to cry. "Stop it!" She cried pulling away from him. "I don't know! I don't have the answers for your questions. All I know is that I would do anything to save him, just as much as I would do to save Megan or even you."

Jack cracked a fake laughter. "Oh... I doubt that. I really doubt that you would put yourself in danger to save me."

"Don't say that..." She begged.

"It's true! God... I have done everything I can to make you love me..."

"I know Jack... I know exactly what you did..." She took the chance to tell him.

"The way you love him!" He ignored her words. "Just the way you love him Di... what love is that? Tell me..."

Her eyes flooded with tears again and she shook her head. "I am sorry..." Her shoulders began to shake. "I am sorry Jack..."
