Dean is handcuffed to another table. Sam and Rose are working on the case. They'll solve it. After that, she'll return to get him out of here, simple, right? He does trust her in a way. His brother talks to her more often, and Rose seems to find Sam funny. They keep something from him, that's for sure, but she wouldn't leave him behind. He knows that. Or he thinks that he knows that.

One of the cops, the female one, asked him to tell her more about these vengeful spirits. He doesn't give a serious answer until he sees the bruises on her wrist: 'You have seen it? Haven't you? The spirit?'

'How did you know?' She looks at her wrist. 'They weren't there before.'

'Because Karen had the same bruises on her wrists. And I'm willing to bet that if you look at Giles' autopsy photos, he's got them too; it's got something to do with this spirit, I... I don't know what.'

She looks away to look in the mirror.

'I know. You think you're going crazy, but let's skip that part, shall we? Because the last two people who saw this thing? Died pretty soon after. You hear me?'

She turns back: 'You think I'm going to die?'

'You need to go to Sam. He'll help. He and Rose... Rosalie. They can keep you safe.'

'The lawyer?'

He nods.

'You're giving your brother up?'

'Go to the first motel listed in the yellow pages. Look for Jim Rockford - it's how we find each other when separated. Now you can arrest him if you want. Or you can let him save your life.'

Rose sits in front of Sam. She is looking through the different booking photos.

'We need more information.' Rose mutters when someone knocks on the door. It's Diane.

'You saw it? Didn't you?' Sam ask her once he opens the door and the cop is inside.

'You know, I must be losing my mind. You're a fugitive. I should be arresting you.'

'Ok, you know what? You can arrest him later, all right? After you live through this. But right now, you've got to talk to us. Ok?' Rose replies.

Sam sits down in his chair: 'Ok, great. Now, this spirit. What did it look like?'

'She was really pale, her throat was cut, and her eyes were like this deep dark red? It appeared like she was trying to talk to me. But she couldn't. It was just... a lot of blood.'

'We've done our research.' Rose hands her a stack of papers: 'Do you recognize any of them?'

'How'd you get those? Those are from crime scenes and booking photos.'

'You have your job.' Sam says while looking at Rose: 'We've got ours.'

'This is her. I'm sure of it.' The cop says, holding a picture out in front of her.

'Claire Becker?'

Sam, Rose and Diane are in an abended warehouse in Ashland Street. Sam and Diane went one way, and Rose went the other way. She walks through the building. Everything is dusty, as expected. This is the kind of place you would find skeletons.

She walks around carefully. When she sees the ghost, she takes the shotgun. It's filled with salt. The spirit flashes closer. Blood drips from the wound, and her neck is slashed open. The ghost stays in place; the only thing the ghost does is try to talk. The spirit reaches out to her.

Rose lowers her gun: 'Sam! Sam!'

The ghost disappears when Sam arrives: 'What happened?'

'She tried to communicate. I think she wants us to find her remains?' Rose says.

'Is that possible?' Diane asks.

'Maybe, but it's strange.' Sam says.

'There, by the window.' Rose and Sam start by moving the shelving unit. The window is revealed together with the letters and their mystery word.

'Now the extra letters make sense.' Sam says, looking at the wall. He pulls out his EMF reader and approaches the opposite wall.

'What is that?' The cop asks.

'It read electromagnetic frequencies, spirits and special remains are found by one of those.'

'Because they give off electromagnetic, really?'

'Yup.' Sam answers. The EMF reader purrs as he waves it over the brick wall. He turns to Rose: 'This is it.'

They smash the wall behind it while the cop watches, holding a flashlight up. 'This is kind of strange, don't you think?' Rose asks.

'Yes, we're digging up a corpse.'

'No, not that. That's, uh, that's kind of normal for what we do.' Sam tells the cop: 'It's just, I mean, no vengeful spirit I've ever tussled with wanted to be wasted, so why would Claire lead us to her remains? It doesn't make any sense.'

They find the body covered up in some sort of bag.

The cop notices a neckless.

'Does this mean anything to you?' Rose asks.

'That neckless. It's custom made; I got one exactly like it from .... Pete.'
