...So, um. As of right now, since it is past midnight now, yesterday, I decided to finally watch that Ardoni skin making tutorial since I was a little interested in making some of my own... Well.. I believe I may have gotten a little carried away, making about five skins in all in just a few hours. Them all of me and a few of my animator friends. :]

Watch Songs Of War to understand what the hekkk I am talking about.

The tutorial I watched:

I had already been using Gimp for a while, just see my how to make a cover page to see that, but in here Arby provides templates and stuff that help A LOT. I even ended up adjusting the tutorials way closer to my own techniques to make things easier for me.

The skins in order of when I made them:

1st was me; half Kaltaris and Sendaris. I kind of wanted a firey fists look but it looks a lot more like splattered paint instead.

The next one was RedBlue115's; him being half Voltaris and Sendaris

The next one was RedBlue115's; him being half Voltaris and Sendaris. For this one I liked the idea of the design looking like a virus wrapping around the character. The whole design is actually one root line that starts on the cheek, which splits off all over the skin. I personally like how it turned out.

The third one is JackTFB; who is orange

The third one is JackTFB; who is orange. Not really a clan but okay. :] For this one my main focus was symmetry, especially since with so many skins purposefully slanted/arrayed in some way I thought this one would also stand out a little.

The 4th was DarthLilo's. Hers was also pretty symmetrical, though not the original plan. My original plan was to make the skin look like the designs made little flower shapes, however, that was pretty much impossible, and I settled on a simpler look. I honestly think my favorite part of this was the color palletting, using the actual colors from her original skin. Though, I have no idea what clan this would be. Maybe a mix between Voltaris, or Mendoris, and Sentaris.

The last one of the day's was Clairiity's

The last one of the day's was Clairiity's. My largest trouble being the little floofy vest/scarf-thing I decided to put on her character for fashion sake. I am still not sure if it looks good, but so far no one seems to hate it.

When I make more I will update this with a (part 2)

When I make more I will update this with a (part 2). I plan on making a render with all us Ardoni folk and using the techniques I learned myself, instead of the way he goes through in the tutorial to make us glow. In my opinion, the way I do it is much easier and requires less work-stuff. K, byeee! :>
