Day by day, our faith is tested, our beliefs questioned. The Devil tries to attack us from all angles, whether by worldwide threats, or even the smallest of debates between you and a loved one. The question is; Should we fight back, and how?

Before jumping to fight back against prosecution of any kind, it is important to know exactly what you are jumping into, what an argument really is. "you should think of an argument as an intellectual, lively dialogue," (17-3) With this in mind, it is crucial that we think through our rebuttals with Christ in mind. "But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect," (1 Peter 3:15) The Bible even goes as far as to say, "We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive as to obey Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:5)

So, we find that not only does the Bible not speak against defending our beliefs; it encourages us to do so. Therefore, don't give up and quit. Fight until the end, day by day.
