"you're driving first, lexi!" madeline brooks shouted before grabbing the last of her bags and running out of her house.

"so not fair!" lexus reed groaned and opened the trunk.

the two girls laughed and jumped into the car. it was 7:30 am and way too early for them to be this happy. lexi and madeline had been best friends since kindergarten. they are inseparable.

"we're picking up sophie then noah and finn is also at noah's." madeline explained and sat down in the passenger seat.

"okay cool. i'm still kind of mad that caleb mclaughlin insisted on bringing rebecca harden." lexi complained.

"me too. it's so annoying. i'm excited to hopefully become closer with megan blythe though, and to see sadie!" madeline said.

about fifteen minutes later, they were outside of noah's house.

"hey bitches!" finn exclaimed and jumped into the car next to noah.

everyone greeted the two boys and started talking about new drama and stuff right away. lexi and sophie were in the front seats and madeline, noah, and finn were in the back seat.

madeline and noah had been best friends since birth. they were also inseparable. their whole friend group was inseparable and best of friends but noah and madeline had something special.

noah handed madeline an ear bud, "friends?"

she nodded and smiled before turning to the screen in front of her. noah put his laptop in front of them and they started watching their favorite tv show, friends.

they were both so focused on the tv show that they didn't realize their other three friends talking about them.

"they're adorable." lexi looked through the mirror and smiled.

"i wish someone would look at me the way noah looks at mads." sophie gushed.

"have they even considered dating?" lexi wondered.

"probably not. mads is too oblivious to even see any signs." sophie laughed.

"does noah even like her?" lexi asked.

"noah's totally whipped. he doesn't know i know that but it's so obvious." finn explained.

"who's all sharing rooms again? i'm sharing with sophie." lexi sat down on a chair near the front desk at the hotel.

"i'm sharing with noah." madeline smiled.

that smile was enough to make noah happy for the whole day. noah had been head over heels for madeline since eighth grade, and now they were almost seniors and he still hasn't made any move.

finn was too busy playing his game on his phone to answer the group.

"hey dipshit," sophie took his phone, "who are you sharing a room with?"

"jaeden. now give me back my phone!" finn groaned.

"nope!" sophie giggled.

finn picked up sophie and tickled her until she dropped his phone.

"thanks babe." finn winked and sophie rolled her eyes.

"they'd be a cute couple." madeline chuckled.

"ew! no!" sophie said disgusted as finn laughed.
