only one bed | noah schnapp

finn took a sharp turn into a wawa parking lot. it was now 3:45 pm and they had been driving since 10 am with one other break. madeline was sleeping in the car so while finn got gas, the other three teens went into wawa.

noah got a cherry slurpee for madeline and a blue raspberry slurpee for himself. he quickly paid while lexi and sophie were getting the other snacks.

finn was about to go inside wawa when noah came back. noah hopped in the car next to madeline and decided to wake her up.

"hey babe- er i mean mads. we're at wawa." noah softly shook madeline awake.

her eyes fluttered open and she adjusted herself to the new surroundings.

"oh hi." madeline murmured and rubbed her eyes.

"i got you a slurpee." noah smiled.

"thank you." she smiled and rested her head on his shoulder.

"there's the love birds!" lexi exclaimed and sat next to madeline and noah.

"shut up, lex." madeline playfully rolled her eyes.

finn and sophie took the bags of mcdonald's they had just ordered while the other three grabbed the bags they needed for staying in the hotel overnight. they decided to hang out in sophie and lexi's room while they ate.

everyone ate their food and madeline almost fell asleep on noah's shoulder when she was done.

"we're gonna go to our hotel room. mads is really tired. night!" noah smiled and madeline followed him out.

"i wish noah would just make a move already." lexi groaned and flopped on to the hotel bed.

finn and sophie nodded and they all talked until finn left to go to his hotel room with jaeden.

"okay can i tell you something?" lexi asked when they were about to turn off the lights.

"of course." sophie replied.

"okay i think i like chosen. we've been texting and trying to hang out and he's been flirting with me." lexi explained.

"aw that's so cute lex! how come you guys never hang out at the hotels or when we were in new york?" sophie asked.

"i don't know. i'm too scared. i've never liked a boy this much." lexi laughed.

" it's barely 10 o' clock, you should go hang out with him for a little!" sophie encouraged.

" i look a mess!" lexi groaned and looked in the mirror.

"just brush your hair and put some shoes on. you look fine." sophie smiled.

"okay!" lexi giggled and grabbed her nike slides.

"good luck! don't get too crazy!" sophie winked and lexi ran out of the door.

madeline quickly fell asleep as soon as she hit the bed. she wasn't sure why she was so tired, it was barely 10 and she had even napped in the car.

noah traced circles around her hand and looked at madeline. he wanted to tell her how he felt but was too scared of the outcome. they had been best friends their whole life and something like that could ruin it.

noah wrapped his arms around madeline and madeline turned around into his chest and they both fell fast asleep.
