"i'm sorry you did what?" madeline squealed.

"you mean to say, you kissed him first?" sophie exclaimed.

"yeah! what did i have to loose?" lexi questioned.

lexi had just told the girls what had happened at her date with chosen. they had just left finn and jaeden's hotel room and decided to spend
the rest of the night together. even sadie decided to tag along and have a girls night.

the boys stayed in finn and jaeden's hotel room. it was almost like a stereotypical movie where the boys hang out and talk about the girls and the girls hang out and talk about the boys. rebecca and caleb went back to their room, like always.

"that's so great, lexi! how was the rest of the date?" megan asked.

"so amazing. he's the most genuine guy." lexi swooned.

"i can't wait to hear everything chosen says tomorrow too! he was talking about you nonstop today." sadie explained.

lexi started blushing profusely and put her face in a pillow so her friends wouldn't start teasing her again, which didn't work out too well.

"ah lexi's blushing!" megan giggled and the rest of the girls started laughing along.

"i'm probably gonna be the only single girl then, right? you guys all have boyfriends don't you?" sadie noticed.

"no," madeline chuckled, "the rest of us don't really have anything going on."

"did you just say that mads? am i hearing this correctly?" sophie asked.

"noah's practically in love with you and we can all see you are too." lexi clarified.

"that's a lie!" madeline gasped.

"listen, i've barely talked to you before this road trip and i was almost positive you guys were dating." sadie took a sip of her pepsi.

"okay, maybe i like him a little bit." madeline whispered.

"what, mads?" megan asked.

"maybe i like him. a little bit." madeline said a little bit louder.

"did you just admit to liking noah?" sophie squealed.

"oh my god you're kidding!" lexi jumped up and down.

"we've been trying to get you to admit that for months!" sophie exclaimed.

"i just said a little bit! i'm not sure yet." madeline explained.

"come on mads! it's okay to like someone." megan said softly.

"i know i know. it's just so complicated. like, he's been my best friend since before i could remember and it's just crazy i would ever feel that way. i just think it'd be easier to forget about anyway i might feel about him." madeline lied down on the bed and put her head in her hands, clearly stressed.

"mads, this boy clearly likes you. scratch that, loves you. i know that you don't want to ruin your friendship but you're never going to know what happens if you don't try." sophie sat on the bed next to her.

"thank you, soph. i'm just so scared." madeline hugged sophie.

lexi, megan, and sadie joined in on the group hug. that moment was very special to the girls.

"please just promise you'll think about your feelings. we're not asking you to confess your love for him or anything but please just think about how you're feeling." lexi rubbed madeline's back.

"i promise."

"and we're always here for you." megan reminded.

their attention shifted to a knock on the door. it startled them at first but then they thought it was probably just one of the boys or a hotel employee. sophie walked over to answer it.

"rebecca? what do you want?" sophie asked, confusedly.

"just come out here." rebecca rolled her eyes.

the girls were obviously confused as to why rebecca out of all people wanted to talk to sophie. they knew sophie would just tell them what happened when she came in so they decided not to eavesdrop.

"what do you need? i really don't have time for this." sophie complained.

"oh trust me, you'll want to hear this." rebecca smirked.

"just say what you need to say." sophie said, getting impatient.

"well, a little birdie told me that you and finn have been sneaking around recently. i'm kind of getting a friends with benefits kind of vibe." rebecca explained.

sophie's jaw dropped, "are you stalking me or something?"

"no? why would i wanna stalk you?" rebecca laughed.

"i don't know but you're clearly jealous of some people i'm friends with. like madeline, for example."

"what? why would i be jealous of her?" rebecca asked, shocked.

"because noah and madeline are close and you're jealous that he doesn't like you." sophie clarified.

"not true but whatever, that's not what i'm here for. all i know is that i have some good dirt on you that i know you wouldn't want to be exposed." rebecca told.

"the fact that you're willing to do that is so low," sophie burst, "what are you even trying to accomplish?"

"you have all made my life hell! madeline stole noah from me and ever since then the amount of friends i've had diminishes every single day." rebecca exclaimed.

"that's not our fault! you can't keep blaming madeline for stealing your boyfriend when in reality, you were toxic and cheated on him so he decided to dump you! and trust me rebecca, you were a cool person before you started getting jealous and manipulative. so maybe if you fixed your personality you wouldn't lose so many friends." sophie blurted.

"i can't believe you just said that to me. you're gonna be especially sorry for that, sophie. i'll be exposing you and all your secrets by tomorrow, bitch." rebecca stormed off.

sophie was left helpless in the hallway. she slid down onto the floor, not quite sure what to do. she decided to text finn.
