megan heard a knock on the door around 10 o' clock. she knew jaeden was coming over to hang out, but she obviously was not prepared for it. why would her crush be asking to hang out, alone? even though they were best friends, they hadn't hung out alone in a long time.

"hey megs." jaeden smiled as megan opened the door.

"hey, jae." megan let out a breath she didn't even realize she was holding.

"so, i was thinking we could do our usual. you know what we did every saturday night-" jaeden started.

"watch old movies from the 80's and 90's and then-" megan continued.

"reminisce on old times when we get bored. and eat lots of popcorn and twizzlers." jaeden finished.

"i missed hanging out with you every day, jae." megan said softly.

"why'd we even stop?" jaeden asked.

"you started hooking up with other girls after your fling with millie didn't work out, i'm assuming." megan sighed.

jaeden was left speechless. he knew he had stopped hanging out with megan more and more during junior year and he hated himself for it every day. he thought after his previous girlfriend didn't work out, he could start 'experimenting' with other girls. which included, millie bobby brown, and sophie gardner. neither lasted long, so he resulted into hooking up with other girls.

"jaeden, please don't leave me like that ever again." megan ran into jaeden's arms.

jaeden hugged megan tight, "i would never. and i'm so so sorry, megan."

megan looked up at jaeden and smiled. she went in for another hug. they were so glad to finally be back. even though they still hung out constantly over this road trip, nothing was the same as how they were a few months ago. but it was finally, almost, back to normal.

megan jumped into one of the hotel beds and jaeden crawled in next to her. she turned on her laptop to play 'the outsiders' first, one of their favorites.

as the movie went on, megan and jaeden were soon cuddling without even realizing it. megan shut the laptop shut as soon as a sad scene came on and sighed.

"maybe we should find another movie to watch." megan looked up at jaeden.

"what? that ones too sad for you." jaeden chuckled.

"maybe a little." megan giggled and tucked herself in between jaeden's arms and chest.

"do you remember, when you came to my first baseball game of the season last year? and you brought a bunch of signs for me and wore my jacket." jaeden reminisced

"that was a fun night," megan smiled, "i still have your jacket i think."

"it looked better on you anyways."

"and do you remember that epic halloween party finn threw back in sophomore year? and you jumped into the pool from the third floor balcony and i tried to convince you not to, but instead you threw me in." megan laughed.

"yeah. that was so crazy. you never forgave me for throwing you in that pool, did you?" jaeden asked.

"no and i probably never will." megan said, jokingly.

the two teens stared at each other and just enjoyed the presence of each other. jaeden's phone lit up which interrupted the moment. it was a text from finn saying he left one of the movie disks that megan and jaeden were gonna watch.

"damn it," jaeden groaned, "i'm sorry, i left the disk for 'scream' in my room and i know how much you wanted to watch that. i'll be right back."

"you're fine. go get it, i wanna watch it with you." megan smiled.

jaeden left and quickly made his way to his room, not wanting to be too long. when he walked into the room, the boys teased him the whole time to which he would reply that they should mind their business. he grabbed the disk and left.

jaeden crawled into the bed again and put the disk into megan's laptop. megan cuddled back into jaeden's side and they hit play.

the movie was about twenty minutes in when megan realized jaeden kept looking at her. she paused the movie.

"jae, what's wrong?" megan frowned.

"oh, nothing. why do you ask?" jaeden stuttered.

"you keep on looking at me."

"megan, can i do something?" jaeden mumbled.

"do what, jaeden?" megan wondered.

"can i kiss you?" jaeden said softly.

megan smiled and nodded in shock. jaeden closed the space in between them as their lips brushed gently against each other. megan sat up jaeden moved his hands onto megan's waist. megan's hands were resting on jaeden's cheeks.

"why did you ask?" megan smiled as they pulled away.

"i wanted your consent, love." jaeden tucked a piece of megan's hair behind her ear.

with that, megan leaned in again and resumed from where they left off. little did they know, jaeden forgot to close the door all the way and a certain someone was too busy getting blackmail of them.

things were getting pretty heated during their makeout session until they heard a knock on the door. they both groaned before megan went outside to see who knocked on the door.

"rebecca, what do you want?" megan asked, annoyed.

"oh, what's wrong with your lipstick megs?" rebecca giggled.

"what? nothing. i was taking my makeup off." megan lied.

"oh megan. you don't have to lie to me." rebecca said suspiciously.

"rebecca what do you need? i'm about to go to bed."

"it does not look like you're about to go to bed." rebecca laughed as megan's expression changed to confused.

"tell me megan, is jaeden a good kisser?" rebecca smirked.

"what are you talking about?" megan's eyes opened wide.

"oh you know exactly what i'm talking about, megs don't play dumb." rebecca rolled her eyes.

"are you stalking me? you're outside of my hotel room interrogating me." megan said.

"listen, i have a favor to ask."

"which is?" megan grew frustrated.

"i need you to help me gather information about noah and madeline." rebecca informed.

"and why would i even do that?"

"because i just took a video of you and jaeden during your heated makeout sesh. i highly doubt you would want those to get leaked. especially to your very strict parents."

"are you kidding me? you're actually disgusting rebecca!" megan exclaimed.

"are you going to do it or not?" rebecca grew impatient.

"what would you even need? what is so interesting?" megan sighed.

"any information, at all. i need something to expose them, especially madeline for the bitch she is." rebecca clarified.

"don't talk about her like that." megan said softly.

"and what are you going to do about it? now listen, that video will be all over social media and you will have some angry parents getting trying to get ahold of you by tomorrow night if you don't help me out." rebecca explained.

"rebecca, please." megan cried.

"you heard me, megs. this didn't have to happen if you stayed by my side from day one. but you didn't."

"fine. just give me until tomorrow." megan said.

"times ticking!" rebecca laughed and left megan in the hallway.
