"Come in come in." Clint says immediately opening the door wider so I can come inside.

"Honey heat up the food we have company." He says as he leads me inside.

"Wha- Apex! What a nice surprise." Laura smiles coming over to give me a hug.

"Nice to see you too." I say into the hug.

"Are you hungry? I can heat up-

"Thank you thank you but I'm not very hungry right now." I sigh.

Clint looks at Apex worriedly as she doesn't look like her usual self.

"You okay?" Clint asks me.

I open my mouth to respond but get cut off.

"Aunt Pex!" I hear making me turn around.

"Lila! Cooper! Man you kids have gotten big." I smile as they rush over to hug me.

"We've missed you." Lila says.

"Yeah a lot." Cooper adds.

"I've missed you guys too and little Nathaniel." I tell them.

"Okay kids back to bed come on." Laura tells them and they whine.

"But mom-

"Now, aunt Pex will be here tomorrow." Laura tells them ushering them back up stairs.

"I can really stay?" I ask.

"Of course that's not even a question the question is why are you're needing a place to crash?" Clint says and I sigh taking a seat on the couch.

After explaining

"Natasha? And Bruce? *shakes head* I don't believe it." Clint says.

"And then you attacked Hulk as Smash? Damn I missed it for a second time." He says and I shake my head.

"Focus on the bigger picture Clint." I sigh.

"Right right sorry. But I'm telling you I'm pretty sure they didn't kiss." He says seriously.

"He showed me pictures Clint *shakes head* I saw them." I say clenching my jaw.

"Why don't you talk to Nat? Ask her if she, did or not." Laura asks carefully.

"I'm scared of what her answer will be. So I just left." I sigh.

"I'm telling you Pex, I don't think that ever happened. HYDRA is trying to get to your head." Clint says.

"I mean Natasha and I barely got together I don't want us to have a rough start. I- I really want this to work." I say.

"Then you should talk to her, or call her." He says.

"This isn't something you do over the phone." Laura shakes her head.

"So what are you gonna do?" Clint asks me.

"I don't know I'll maybe wait a day or two." I say.

"No offense Pex but waiting isn't going to change anything." He says and I sigh since he's right waiting isn't going to change a single thing.

1 Day Later

"I checked on little Nathaniel he's all changed.." I drag as I see Natasha in the living room with Laura and Clint as I get down the stairs.

"W-What are you you doing here?" I ask swallowing thickly looking down.

"I want us to talk." She says softly.
