Ch 17

After eating outside it got dark so we went back inside in the living room to hang out and catch up.

"Soo Vision is JARVIS?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"Noo." They all laugh.

"I don't get it." I shake my head getting up to get another beer.

When I sit back down somehow we started talking about Thor's hammer then everyone wanted to try to lift it.

"So whoever lifts it is worthy and gets to rule Asgard?" Tony asks to which Thor nods.

"Okay I gotta try this." He says going over to the hammer on the coffee table.

He obviously fails and the other guys try and gain the same result, it not moving a centimeter.

"Would you like to try lady Natasha?" Thor asks her.

"Oh no no no that's not a question I need answered." She chuckles taking a sip of her beer.

Wanda and Pepper also refuse to try.

"What about you Apex?" Thor offers.

"I've lifted my fair share of hammers Energizer, I can easily tell that one isn't for me." I shake my head with a smirk.

"Come on Apex we all did it." Rhodey says with a smirk and I sigh going over to it.

I stand in front of it and wrap both hands on the handle then try to lift it, my arms flexing.

Thor's gaze moves down to the hammer focusing on it, his amused face falling.

"See, nothing." I chuckle as it doesn't move then go back to sit down next to Clint.

Thor looks up at me chuckling.

"Honorable attempt." He nods with a smile raising his beer.

I nod, my gaze lingering on the hammer before a voice catches my attention.

"Alright Tony all your meetings are set-

Happy stops talking when he sees me.

"Hey Happy." I smile.

"Oh my god is it really you kid?" Happy asks coming over to me.

"Yup I'm back Happy." I say and he gives me a hug.

"It's great to see you." He smiles patting my shoulder.

"You too." I tell him.

I got to my room and open the door seeing everything exactly how it was before. I walk in looking around taking it all in.

"It hasn't been touched." Someone says making me turn back to see them leaning against the door.

"I can see that." I chuckle.

"You can come in." I say as I notice she doesn't step in.

She walks in and I go over to her.

"I really missed you." She confesses softly looking at me.

"I really missed you too Nat." I tell her.

It then gets quiet.

"I feel like we should have the you know, the talk." I tease making her smile.

"It's late, you need to sleep." She chuckles.

"Come on I've had many sleepless nights, staying up a little longer to talk to you isn't gonna affect me." I tell her.
