We make it back to the compound.

"Uncle Tony-" I try but he just walks away further in.

I go to follow but I get stopped.

"Thank goodness you're alright!" Pepper says coming over to me embracing me in a hug.

"I'm fine aunt Pep." I assure.

"The media is going crazy! You're all anyone can talk about right now." She shakes her head.

"Well I'm an Avenger again so it's not a bad thing." I say.

"Is that also why Tony's mad?" She asks and I nod.

"I should go to talk to him." I say.

"Maybe you should give him space babe." Natasha says coming over to us.

"Are you two..?" Pepper starts.

"Yeah we're back together." I nod with a smile putting my arm over Natasha's shoulders.

"I'm happy for you guys." She says giving us a warm smile.

"Thank you Pepper." Natasha smiles laying her head on my chest wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Now, I should really go talk to uncle Tony." I sigh kissing Natasha's forehead then walking away to his lab because that's where he most likely is.

"Uncle Tony why are you being so cautious and protective?" I ask as I walk in seeing him by a table.

"Because!" He scoffs.

"Tony-

"Because I can't lose you! We're a legacy. We were the Golden Trio now it's two of us that's not a trio. We stick together. Teammates, friends, girlfriends they've come and gone but this *points between us* is for life. I can't lose you because you did the sacrifice play." He rants and I look down letting his words sink in.

"I'm sorry uncle Tony. I- I just wanted to help. You guys weren't here, I was." I say softly and he sighs.

"I know you did but you have people that care for you and now a girlfriend even though I'm a little wary about your relationship with Romanoff." He says seriously.

"Why?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows confused.

"Because I don't want you to get hurt again. A part of me thought you weren't coming back from Russia. I'm not used to you being in a relationship, I'll play the protective dad part no problem." He says and a small smile comes across my lips.

"That isn't necessary uncle Tony, I'm an adult. Thanks though." I tell him smiling.

"I don't care I'm still going to be protective and on that note please watch the PDA none of us really need to see that." He tells me with a shake of his head.

"You kiss aunt Pep all the time!" I exclaim extending my arms infront of me.

"Because we're in love." He justifies.

"And I lo-

"Nope nu-uh la la la la laaa I'm not listening!" He screws his eyes shut shoving his fingers in his ears making me roll my eyes.

After a minute he stops and sees me.

"La la la laaaaa still not listening!" He says closing his eyes again.

"Tony!" I yell over his yelling and he stops.

"You can't say that word for other than food, cars, shoes and- food." He stammers.
