Next Day

"Hey Banner." I sigh as I walk into the lab.

"Hi Apex." He greets.

"Hello I'm here too." Tony greets waving his hand around from his desk.

"Hey uncle Tony." I smile.

"What's up?" Banner asks me.

"Fury is making me do some tests so I can rejoin the team and I kinda wanted to ask if you can just *clears throat* fake em." I mumble.

"Beg pardon?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Come on Bruce I don't need lab work." I whine throwing my head back.

"I'm sorry Apex, I'll run the tests but legitimately I don't need Fury coming after me." He chuckles making me groan.

"Fine fine when can you run the tests?" I ask.

"Um I can do it now." He says looking over his desk.

"Great." I say full of sarcasm.

"Why does Fury want you to get tests done?" Tony asks curiously.

"*sighs* I don't fucken know, but the sooner I get em done the sooner I'm back in action." I say hopping on the medical table.

Skip all the testing stuff Bruce had to do.

"And we're done I'll run this down to the medical wing and we'll have the results Fury wants in a few days." Bruce says grabbing his notes and viles leaving the lab.

"Thanks Bruce." I say.

"No problem." He says as he steps out.

As he steps out Natasha steps in.

"Hey." She greets looking at me.

"Hi." I say smiling ear to ear.

"Hello I'm here too." Tony says making her turn to him.

"Hey Stark." She tells him.

"What're you doin here?" Tony asks and she raises an eyebrow.

"Can I not be here?" She asks crossing her arms over her chest.

"No it's just that you've never once stepped in the lab so I'm curious as to why you are here." Tony defends.

"Well I was looking for my girlfriend and this is where she is." She says and I walk over to her kissing her cheek.

"You was looking for me babydoll?" I ask her.

"Yeah Steve told me you were looking for me earlier." She says playing with the end of my shirt making me grab her hand softly.

"Oh yeah I wanted to know if you were free tonight so I can take you out on our date." I tell her and she smiles.

"I am free." She says.

"So would you like go out with me tonight?" I ask her.

"Yes I would." She says.

"Yes!- I mean cool cool I'll pick you up at your room at 8." I tell her.

"Can't wait." She smiles then kisses my cheek and walks out of the lab.

The smile never leaving my lips as I watch her walk away.

"*chuckles* Smooth." Tony teases getting my attention.

"Shut up." I grumble with slight embarrasment.

"So I was thinking maybe we can get you a new suit." Tony says getting up from his seat then walks over to a table looking at various sketches of different concepts for a new suit.
