Apex Avenger: Shadow Soldier

Ch 24

Everyone except for Apex are on the Quinjet on their way to Russia for a mission regarding HYDRA.

"Oh my god a mouse!" Wanda yelps as she sees a mouse run across a table.

It tries to run away but Thor grabs it by it's tail making it squirm raising an eyebrow at it.

"What shall I do with it? Smash it with my hammer?" He asks extending his arm out and his hammer wooshes into his hand.

"Wait wait it's me don't smash me!" I yelp as I turn back hanging upside down, Thor holding me by my ankle.

"I knew it was you Apex." He chuckles helping me stand right side up.

"What are you doing here?" Tony asks seriously.

"I'm tagging along, not as an Avenger just as a..tourist." I say looking around.

Tony gives me a not so happy look.

"Go home." He says seriously crossing his arms over his chest.

"I know this mission is about HYDRA and I want my revenge uncle Tony." I tell him and he shakes his head.

"You don't even have your suit. You're not even medically cleared." He says.

"That's why I have him." I say then shift into Smash for emphasis then turn back.

"Besides I'm medically cleared." I wave off.

"How do you know that?" He asks raising an eyebrow.

"Bruce am I cleared?" I ask looking over at Bruce.

"Well um I haven-

"I'm taking that as a yes." I nod then look back over at Tony.

"You stay on the ship." He sighs making me smile.

"Yeah totally." I nod immediately.

I then dap Sam and Bucky on my way to sit next to Natasha.

"Hey." I smile at Natasha.

"I'm not happy with you." She says and I frown.

"Why?" I ask her.

"Because you aren't suppose to be here and you are." She says.

"I know babydoll but I know HYDRA and I just want you to be safe even if all these knuckle heads are by your side." I say and she rolls her eyes, a slight blush coming onto her cheeks.

Steve then goes through the plan about their mission and I listen in because I'm most likely not going to stay on the ship.

"Apex stay on the ship." Steve says and I nod.

"You got it Cap'n Crunch." I salute.

We get there and they all leave.

"Good luck kiss." Natasha says quickly pecking my lips.

I chuckle as I see her walk away with the others.

"Anybody wanna take care of that bunker?" I hear Natasha ask through the coms then a roar from Hulk.

"Thank you." She says.

Having nothing better to do I look through the quinjet and find some cigarettes and lighter that I left a long time ago, I shrug and put them in my pocket. Bored on ship I shift into Smash and step out into the cold. I take out HYDRA soldiers that were in my path with a roar.

"Is that-

"Yup." Natasha cuts Wanda off with a sigh.

"*chuckles* So, you're back with the Avengers." Director Shay says making me turn to him and other soldiers that were with him.
