Ch 33

Apex was taken back to the compound and straight to the medical wing, groaning in pain moving around but she was unresponsive. They cut open her shirt to see the damage and when they do they didn't know what to say. Steve distraught following as far as he could until the doctors told him he couldn't go any further.

"Rogers!" He hears making him turn around to see the others approach.

"What happened?!" Tony asks.

"She got hit with an arrow that had poison on it." Steve runs his hand through his hair worryingly.

"Where'd they take her?" Rhodey asks.

"I-I don't know maybe surgery they didn't let me inside." He stammers motioning to the double doors down the hall behind him.

I start to wake up with a pounding headache, monitors beeping. I start to shift around feeling someone holding my hand, opening my eyes adjusting to the bright lights.

"Baby are you okay?" Natasha asks worryingly holding my clammy hand.

"W-what are you doing here Natasha?" I rasp removing my hand from her grasp.

"What do you mean baby-

"You missed our mission Natasha." I shake my head and her she lowers her head.

"I know I'm so sorry love." She sniffs.

"Yeah, aren't you about this saving the world crap? Blowing me off trying to spend time with you is one thing but bailing on a mission? *shakes head* I was going to go by myself luckily Steve wanted to go with me if not I would've been done for." I say in pain clutching my ribs.

"I'm sorry let me make it up-

"It's fine." I groan leaning over then throw up in the bucket.

"You can go now." I say spitting into the bucket.

"No I'm taking care of you." She shakes her head.

"I don't need you to." I rasp.

"You're my girlfriend I want to be here for you-

"I have someone looking over me. Bruce probably needs you for something anyway." I say coldly spitting again.

"Who-

"Here are some meds I think will help." Megan says coming in.

I lean over and throw up in the bucket again and groan in pain. I wipe the sweat off my forehead.

"I'll let you get some rest." Natasha mumbles softly getting up.

"Megan please make the pain go away." I huff moving around in bed.

Natasha's heart drops slightly at Apex not wanting her to stay with her.

"Try taking these pills." She hands me one and a glass of water.

Later on she starts thrashing around in bed unresponsive, so much that they had to put her to sleep so she'd calm down.

I start to wake up my vision blurred seeing a figure on the right side of my bed, as my eyes focus it turns out to be uncle Tony.

"Hey kid." Tony greets softly.

"H-hey uncle T." I say.

"How do you feel?" He asks.

"I'm okay." I rasp and he sighs.

"Y/N please be honest."

"Hot and cold, sweaty, vomiting my guts out, my head throbbing like the speakers in Spongebob's house with the jelly fish dancing. All in all I'm fine." I groan licking my dry lips.
