New Message: Parker 🙈
5 minutes later...
"Can you just look already?", Kylie asks as I hover over the toilet.
"No," I moan, "I don't want to ... I feel like I'm gonna puke."
" You already did...like 5 times", Kylie groans, "C'mon".
"You already know I am".
"Ok, I'm looking Ri", She says, "Are you ready?".
"No, not really", I say, frowning.
She picks up the pregnancy stick from the counter and hands it to me. I clasp it tightly in my clammy hands and stand up. I'm pale and weak, and I'm nauseous.
I glance at the little box in the middle of the stick and squint.
"It's negative?", I ask.
"What?", Riley looks at the test in my hand and then snatches it.
"It is...", I say, "But I feel like this".
Kylie tosses the stick in the trash and sighs.
"You're pregnant...I know it", She says, "I'm gonna go buy more tests at Target...I'll be right back".
I sigh and then bury myself next to the toilet, miserably watching Kylie go.
"I'll be right back," She calls, "Hang tight!"
I'm hanging tight, alright. Onto the edge of the toilet seat, while puking my guts out.
