Chapter 17

"(Y/N)...! (Y/N)!"

I opened my tired eyes, finding myself in a dark room. "(Y/N) are you okay??" I turned my head slowly, seeing Glimmer being held by two electric weapons, I tried to move, but soon I realized I was being held too, my (H/C) hair falling down my shoulders as I looked at her. "What happend...?"

"Adora was right went she felt that Catra and Scorpia where plotting something, they almost managed to destroy the Kingdom of Snows." Glimmer sighed heavily. "And I tried to save you and Bow from the Horde but I was abducted too."

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists, I was too tired to be using my magic, but I should give it a try. I concentrated all my powers in my hands, but as soon as I tried to break free I felt elecricity running through my body, I screamed loudly and stopped, panting in pain as Glimmer cried my name in concern.

Glimmer's eyes widened, I could feel a chill run down my spine. I glanced nervously at her, who looked back in return. She had fear and uncertainty in her eyes. "Why did you do that?" I sighed, calming down from the shock. "I... I wanted to try and break free... Are we really in the Horde?" 

Glimmer flinched, biting her lower lip. "I'm so sorry (Y/N)! I left you to spy Scorpia alone because I was worried Bow would leave me! I'm so sorry! And now we are closed here and they will kil--!"

"You're wrong!" Glimmer jumped, startled by my sudden outbreak. I stared at her directly, holding firm eye contact. "We're both here aren't we? We're both here for each other even after all that happened aren't we??" The princess was taken aback, she just stared in awe at me, not quite sure what to respond with, because she knew I was right. 

Even if we are trapped, we only have each other to rely on to get out of here, that is, if the others don't come. It wasn't an idea that either of us liked thinking about, but we have to do something, with help or without it. "Everything will be okay, we jusy have to break free from here little by little." Glimmer smiled a little.

The worst part was that we were separated from Adora and Bow. If Adora didn't have her sword, which I had automatically assumed the Horde took, they could be doing anything to her. I shuddered at the thought of Adora, one of my best friends, in pain. I know Adora is very strong even without her sword, but I'm still severely worried.

Glimmer looked around the cell once again. Both of us were desperate for a way to escape, if my magic didn't even work in the first try, I knew Glimmer's wasn't going to work out either. However, Glimmer tried. Because maybe, just maybe, it might work. There has to be a way to escape.

Glimmer tried to teleport out again, but she's only greeted by a small shock. She tries again, but once again, she only gets a shock. This time, it hurts more than before. She holds back a groan. Glimmer refuses to give them the satisfaction, even if they probably can't hear her.

"I should warn you. Any attempt to teleport through these restraints will only cause you pain." That voice... Shadow Weaver. "It seems my Black Garnet and your powers don't mix. Besides, your mother will be here soon." We turned our heads, looking at the woman in red and black. "I know all about you and your mind games. Adora told us, so, save it! And by the way, she's not a fan."

"But I'm not playing games. What I said about queen Angella is true. She's coming to surrender herself in exchange for your safety." I furrowed my eyebrows, sadness washing over my features. "Oh. A shame, the toll this Rebellion has taken on your family. First, you lose your father and now--"

"She-Ra will stop you!" I interrupted Shadow Weaver, and she turned to me, her fingers taking my jaw. "There is no She-Ra! We have the sword. Not Adora. There will be no one left to stop the Horde. In a few hours, Bright Moon will fall and Etheria will be ours to rule." Both Glimmer and I screamed loudly, trying to break free from our chains forcefully.
