Chapter 19

My head...

That is my first thought, awakening slowly by the sunrise, the morning light making me open my eyes. I hid my face, sat slowly and stretched. I looked around my room, everything was as I left it before going... To the Ball. 

I sighed, turning my head to the window. Flashbacks of everything going though my mind, the pain still vivid, but honestly... What I cared about right now are Glimmer, Bow and Adora. I hope they are all okay, I also hope I didn't give too much trouble.

I stood from the bed and walked towards the bath. This what I needed, waking up sweating was the worst thing ever. After a few minutes, I got out an prepared myself for the day, well, prepared myself for everyone.

"Hello!!" I frowned, standing in the same place as I turned around slowly, only to look up and see a white horse with multicolored wings. This horse...

"Horsey??" I asked out loud, not believing my eyes. "Please! Call me Swift Wind!!" I blinked as he did a pose. I suppose I shouldn't be so surprised, this is a world with magic, I'm sure pegasus are normal around here, or at least talking animals. "Where have you been? We've been worried!" I said as I stepped closer to him, watching him up and down.

"I've been finding myself! And of course finding you! Get on!" Swift Wind kneeled a bit, helping me to get on his back with his wing, he walked out of my chambers and made our way to what I believe was Glimmer's room.

I saw the doors open, as Swift Wind whinnies and walks fabulously towards my friends. "Our horse!" I heard Bow exclaim. "I am my own horse. Call me Swift Wind!" Both the archer and the princess screamed. "Our horse can talk!!

"Yeah, yeah I can speak my mind now pretty crazy, I've got your friend from the other room too!" I waved at them as Swift Wind walked into Glimmer's room. "(Y/N)!!" I dismounted and Glimmer and Bow ran to me, hugging me tightly. "Shouldn't you be resting?? What are you doing up?? Are you seriously okay??"

"Guys, guys! I'm okay, I mean, I'm not okay, obviously but... I just... I guess I didn't feel like being closed in my room anymore." Glimmer embraced me again, and I smiled softly. "I was so worried... I thought... We thought..."

"Thank you for worrying about me, you guys are the best." I said as I smiled, they returned it, but someone was missing here. "Where... Where's Adora?" I asked, Bow looked down, scratching his head. "Adora is... We don't know where she is exactly, but since we've returned she hasn't been the same. Glimmer has been glitching because of the dark spell, she cannot use her magic anymore, and you've been unconscious for almost 2 days."

So... I was really in bad condition...

"Adora tried to use her sword to heal you and Glimmer, but she doesn't know how to use it, so she just... Jumped out of the window and disappeared into the forest, saying she needed to practice." I hummed at Bow's explanation, I turned to Glimmer to ask her something, but she frowned, staring at the horse next to me.

"He has wings...!" I glanced at Swift Wind. Have they really not seen these kind of magical creatures before? 

"Okay I'll give you a moment to freak out, and then we need to talk." Glimmer and Bow gasped loudly as they stared at him, making me giggle. "Have you seriously never seen a pegasus?" Then they turned to me. "A pegasus? What's that? Is it from your world?" I shook my hands. "No, in my world pegasus are creatures from mythological stories. Swift Wind is what we call in my world a 'pegasus', horses with wings and sometimes horns."

"Wow, it sounds good! A pegasus! Swift Wind the Pegasus!" I chuckled as he did poses again, but suddenly stopped, blustering. "I think Adora needs our help. Since she transformed me, I've been able to feel where she is. It's like instinct... But now I feel a pull, as if I'm being summoned to her side." Bow stepped closer to Swift Wind, stroking his wing and excitedly walking back to us.
