The ship's engine whirs as it speeds toward Horde Prime's flagship. Glimmer, Bow, Entrapta and I are holding up outside of the ship not to be discovered by the clones, and as Darla is pulled in to Prime's ship, where it lands with a thump, an energy barrier thrums closed behind us. The hatch whooshes open and the ramp thuds when it connects to the metal ground.

Adora, as planned, surrenders immediately and walks slowly toward the clones. Finally, we're in. "You won't find anything, I came alone. I hear Horde Prime's been looking for me. Figured it was time we met."

"Yes. You will be brought before Prime. And there you will receive your judgment." One of the clones says to Adora. I hear a grunt coming from the soldier as we hear them walk away, and suddenly Entrapta, Bow and Glimmer fall off the ship's back, grunting when they hit the ground. I slowly glide down next to them. "Spacesuit testing officially a success...! All suits stood up to ship's velocity with zero loss of life!"

Glimmer looked at Entrapta nervously as I helped her up. "Wait, what? That was a possibility?"

"Everything's a possibility with Entrapta." Glimmer hummed at me, knowing it was true. "How can you even breathe in space...?!" She asked loudly, earning a big 'shush' from Bow, he then tapped the in-ear radio to speak with Adora. "We're in. They didn't find us." I was worried we were going to get caught in here, I remember the bruises they did on Maria, the violence, the torture...

"Good. Be quick, and don't get caught... Please do all you can to find her."

She said whispering. I smiled sadly, replying. "We will Adora, I promise you."

Glimmer and I made our way into the familiar corridors of the ship, it was way bigger than I ever imagined, this isn't even the place I saw last time I infiltrated this place. "What will you do when you find Catra?" I averted my eyes at the quiet question, Glimmer looked dead serious. "What do you mean what will I do...? I will help her of course..."

"That pause. Don't do that pause."  She said as she raised her voice, I shut her mouth before she could get any louder. Glimmer's capable of that. "I will have to deal with whatever comes, okay...!?" I muttered fast, shaking my hands in stress.

My breath stopped.

My heart thumped rapidly at the sudden touch.

My cheeks burned up automatically.

Glimmer was kissing me.

Her lips were soft against mine, but it was gone just as soon as it came.

The princess looked at me with shining eyes, her eyes widened and her cheeks flushed red at what she had just done, she did it without thinking. "G-Glimmer..."

"N-No, please...! Don't say anything... I didn't think it, I know you're in love with someone else and I--" She sighed deeply and tried to get some air into her lungs. When Glimmer calmed down, she stared into my eyes. "I've liked you for a long time and I never thought I would have the opportunity to have this... You made me feel so wanted when I was alone... When I was angry at my mom you were always there to make the situation better... You were always there. You still are. I want to thank you, you have suffered so much just like us, and yet when you get angry or sarcastic you stayed with us."

I relaxed my shoulders, my eyes blackening as I teared up. "Glimmer... You have to understand that these moments aren't perfect, it's okay for you to fall in love, but I'm afraid I'm gonna have to reject you again. For your sake more than for mine... I'm sure someone else loves you more than I do, and that person is waiting for the right time to tell you."

Glimmer sighed sadly, but she flashed me a bright smile afterward. "I guess... We'll have to wait till we defeat Horde Prime for that to happen. I'm happy that I can remain your friend." I took her hand gently. "Let me correct you, your majesty: Best friend." I said and Glimmer giggled lowly. Our radios beeped softly, indicating that someone was contacting us.
