Chapter 20

"It's coming from the Fright Zone! Whatever is happening the Horde must be causing it!" Shouted Adora, we've been only a few minutes in the skies, flying towards Bright Moon and we were panicking already. "The Whispering Woods are freezing!" 

"What do we do?!" I shouted as I looked at the Fright Zone. Glimmer grunted as she glitched again. "We have to get home, we have to make sure that everyone at Bright Moon is okay!" We flew away into the skies, trying not to be hit by any thunder. 

Is this because of that damned black garnet at the Fright Zone?

Swift Wind was trying his best to avoid any damage, but he had to move a lot in order to be save, but that made us almost fall over for a couple of times. "Look!" Bow points a glow pink beam in the skies, Glimmer gasps happily. "That's Bright Moon! The distress beacon..."

"Hang on!" Swift Wind turned and in less than a minute we were in front of the queen, Glimmer dismounted and embraced her mother. "Mom! What's going on?"

"The elements are out of harmony. The Moonstone is using power to counteract darkness. But it's not enough, it's taking all my strength to just to keep my connection with it." Adora transformed back to her normal self, stepping to the queen. "The cloud is coming from the Fright Zone."

"So what's our plan? We do have a plan, right?" Nobody answered Bow. "Guys?" Adora walked near the end of the pillar holding the moonstone, staring at the woods. "The woods are frozen over. There's nothing to shield Bright Moon from the Horde. We have to prepare for an attack!" I looked down, starting to follow them into the castle.

"(Y/N)..."

I turned, but there was nobody there, I still glanced around, hoping that I would find that someone that keeps calling my name. But there was nothing there, absolutely nothing.

As I entered the reunion room, I stood next to the queen, who only rested a hand on my shoulder as we listened to Bow. "Our scouts reported sighting the Horde army, moving towards us at top speed."

"We must protect Bright Moon at all costs. If the Moonstone is destroyed, there will be nothing left to stop the darkness." Said Angella, my hands suddenly sweating, my anxiety was coming back. "Someone must have seen the beacon..." I said loud enough for them to hear me. "The Alliance is broken, and other princesses have their kingdoms to protect. No one's coming, (Y/N)..." I didn't believe Adora, and so didn't Bow. 

A royal guard barged into the room. "Someone's come!"

"Is it the Princesses?" Bow asked with a smile. The guard stepped aside to reveal Spinnerella and Netossa, I haven't seen them for a long time. "Oh... Spinnerella and Netossa!" Bow chuckles nervously. "Thanks for coming, guys...!" 

"You still don't know what we do, do you?" Netossa asked, kind of annoyed at the archer. "Uh No." Bow scratched his hair, looking away. "Seriously? It's in the name. Net-tossa. Nets! I toss nets!" Spinnerella embraces Netossa with one arm, cuddling her slightly. "Yes, darling, you have beautiful nets." I smiled slightly, some people still have that lucky person next to them, and whenever I see these two princesses I remind myself that there is love beyond anything.

"You have powers, which is more than me. But that doesn't matter, I don't need magic to fight." Glimmer exclaimed out, but Angella rested her hand on her shoulder, stopping her daughter. "Glimmer, not only are you without powers, but you're still glitching. It's too dangerous." 

Glimmer widened her eyes, not believing what she was hearing. "But mom--"

"Your mom is right, Glimmer. I don't want you risking yourselves. She-Ra can do this alone. This is what she's for." I stepped to Adora, surprised at what she was saying. "Adora, not even She-Ra can take out an army all on her own!" I said.
