Maria opened her eyes, widening them at the mere thought of what had happened. Her heart was in her throat, and her eyes looking everywhere nervously. Was it a dream? Was she dead?

Her lungs were full of air, she exhaled deeply and felt her blood running through her body, a very uncomfortable feeling she hoped never to feel again. She's truly alive. You didn't kill her like she thought you would do, after all, Maria knew the kind of possession your stone had, and she was disappointed that you didn't even try to fight against the former queen.

"You are awake, I'm glad." The sound of your voice made her jump on her feet, staring at you with a horrified expression. You stood up, much calmer than Maria wished. She noticed your eyebrows moving slightly, your expression turning to a sad one, you felt guilty. "I'm sorry... If I had a chance I would have fought, but someone had to take the power of the fire stone, or else she would never leave me. And this time, forever."

Maria looked in disbelief at the gorgeous, red stone above a pillar. She didn't felt as nervous as before, and this time she had the opportunity to catch every detail, not only about the room or the stone, but also you. You were in a beautiful black dress with gems symbolizing the galaxies and stars, and your eyes had the same color, but instead of a pupil, you have a 4 pointed star.

You turned to her slowly, a graceful smile decorating your lips. "Do I... Look that different?" You suddenly asked. You were scared, scared that you might have scarred your childhood friend forever, it was a hard decision, she told you Maria would live, and that she did, but at what cost? There has to be a cost.

"I mean... You do. Your eyes..." You nodded. "Yeah, I noticed. The galaxy stone is finally mine, and mine only to protect and care." You were a lot more serious and formal than she ever thought you would be. Mature, decisive, and determined.

"Why... W-Why did you that? You could have-- I-I was--! She burned me and you did nothing!" Maria had all the right to be mad. If she wasn't the right for the job, then she would have died, and she hasn't even noticed how different she looks now. Maria once had bright brown locks always on a ballerina bun with some strands out, her hair had turned a lot longer and more orange-like, her eyes were dark green now turned red, and her clothes had changed into a long fiery color dress.

"I know, but I knew you would survive..." Maria looked ticked off by your answer. "You haven't even realized your change of appearance." Her expression changed and she ran to the halls of the ruined castle to look at herself in the crystals, a loud shout echoed, and you blinked twice as you saw her running towards you, tripping twice, but she was able to grab onto you for help.

"What... WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?! Is this some kind of Queer Eye?!" Maria started shaking you very harshly, not even leaving you time to breathe normally. "If-- I wanted to-- Queer Eye or make a-- Victoria's Secret-- Stop that!" You shouted between shakes, Maria finally let go of you, her hands resting on her hips.
