Shawn and Rosaly

Rosaly locked herself in the bathroom in the Weekend, because she didn't want to talk to anyone. She was embarrassed and didn't know how to disguise her nervousness. Only that day, she had knocked the juice over a Hollywood star, broke two plates, and took a wrong order. What was happening to her? She just couldn't concentrate. Her head was full of Peter. His smell was so good, and his kisses were even better. His touch on her skin made her feel full of life, and she hadn't felt that way in so long. In fact, she felt as if she were vegetating, because her heart had been so broken that she thought she'd never feel anything again, but then Peter arrived and she started dealing with intense and confused emotions again, and that complicated everything. She couldn't and shouldn't like him, no matter how much her mind caught her in the trap of desire she couldn't like him, no matter how much her body ignored her calls not to be enveloped by that warm smile, that sexy mouth and his divine hands, she couldn't like him, but to her misfortune she liked Peter so much, And she couldn't forget that look in his eyes that seemed to unravel the secrets of her soul, he made her nervous when he asked her a thousand questions about her life, he left her speechless when he gave her some compliment, and made her lose control when he kissed her in that enveloping way. What would she do with what she was feeling? And worst of all, he showed that he liked her too, and Peter didn't seem like a guy who would give up easily on what he wanted. But what if all that was a big joke to him? What if he was the kind of guy who loved a good conquest, and her refusal had only aroused his interest even more? If that were true, that would be another good reason to stay away from him. It would never be a plaything in a man's hands again.

- Rosely, are you all right? - She heard Lexy's worried voice, and she opened the bathroom door, staring at her friend's interrogative look.

- I'm fine, Lexy. I'm just a little messed up today. - she gave a half a smile trying not to let Lexy notice her state of mind.

- You're worried. You locked yourself in here after you gave a juice bath to the client at table four. I've never seen you like this. I thought you were having a bad time.

- I'm sorry, Lexy. I didn't mean to leave you in an awkward situation because of my clumsiness. Was he very angry?

- Actually, he was more surprised than angry. We talked a little, and I apologized to him, but he said he'd only forgive me if I gave him my phone number. Yeah, I can't say that your clumsiness was all bad. It got me a date with a very attractive man.- She laughed maliciously.

- I'm glad everything turned out all right. I hope you have fun on your date, then.

- Thank you. Don't you want to tell me what's bothering you?

- It's nothing, Lexy. I guess I woke up kind of messed up today. - she didn't wanna talk about Peter, because if she started talking about him with someone, he'd become so real to her that he'd never leave.

- You know you can count on me if you need me, right?

- I know, Lexy. Thank you. - Rosaly felt a lot of affection for her friend. She was always kind and sweet to her. She would have liked a sister like Lexy, sharing her joys and sorrows, her secrets, sharing the burdens of life, having someone to count on. Rosaly had a brother she loved, when they were children they were always together, but after they grew up, each one had been living their own life, and although they kept the same camaraderie as before, they were never so intimate. The last time Ricardo came to visit her after six months she was living in Vancouver, after that they only spoke by phone, and Rosaly missed him a lot.

-- Shall we go back to work? - Lexy said, hugging Rosaly by the shoulders.

- Of course.

And so the rest of the day went on without any further incident. When her work schedule was over, Rosaly changed her clothes and headed for the exit, and she had a big stare when she saw who was waiting for her.
