Dinner ended and Edelweiss made her way up down to the Slytherin common rooms with the prefects, however upon her arrival an owl dropped a note on her head. She opened it and read quickly the note from Severus.
'Come down to the Potions room, we need to discuss your academic placement. -Professor Snape'

Edelweiss sighed and left the common room to her uncle's office. He was sitting at his desk looking incredibly irritated.
"Muffliato. You're responsible for Potter's issue at the barrier, aren't you?" He questioned, and when she didn't argue, he continued. "What were you thinking?! Why would you try to keep him from Hogwarts, it's safer for him here and Albus is here to protect him." Severus snapped at his niece who sighed,
"Lucius plans on doing something with some Dark Artifacts, I just can't figure out which ones. He messed with the Weasleys to plant one on them. He's also selling everything else he has because he's afraid of a future search of the manor." She explained and Severus's eyes widened,
"What was it? The Dark Artifact." He said focused completely on the girl.
"An old book. I had Dobby check it and it was the diary of Tom Riddle. I just can't figure out who he is. I've spent days in the library but there is no mention of a Tom Riddle anywhere. And the book was blank." She said and Severus stood up quickly.
"You need to be very careful throwing that name around girl, many people still fear it." He said cryptically.
"What's that supposed to mean? Who is he?" She asked him.
"The Dark Lord." He stated making his way over to the door. Edelweiss paled even more than seemed possible.
"So Tom Riddle is Him?" She said shocked, she'd completely forgotten that Voldemort had been someone before going completely dark.
"Yes and if his diary is on school grounds then something is definitely going to happen again this year." Severus said quietly, "Be careful, and don't do anything rash like last year." He said before stalking into his office. She sighed and made her way back to the common room.
